Its way past time that rightmove updated it search options to stop estate agents manipulation of the results e.g. allowing an entry showing “offers over” without the ability to remove those results... See more

good follow-up to query I had raised about their website

Right move is set up to sell financial services (like mortgage products) and promote estate agencies that pay for additional promotion.
Registration is painful, taking 5 mins to wade through their security protocols

Great customer service, you couldn't ask for better.

I would give minus stars if possible.
Our letting agent uses Rightmove referencing: So the Rightmove rep, Craig called my wife and within 30 seconds insisted on access to her bank account (?!). Then, when she declined and offered the usual payslips and statements, the rep said, "You want this property, get over it and swallow the pill".
I have never heard such unprofessional nonsense in my entire life. I am absolutely insensed and who in their right mind would give bank account access to a complete stranger in Ireland???
Who the hell do these people think they are? Does anyone trust 'Rightmove' with their personal financial data, you'd have to be insane.

I discovered yesterday that my home, that I purchased in 2018, shows that it was listed again in January 2022 - which it most certainly was not! Having contacted Rightmove to find out how this happened, I was told that this happens when the listing is archived; yet other people I know, who bought properties years before I purchased mine, still show the actual date of the listing before they purchased it! Why would it not state, 'Date of archiving' rather than 'Property last listed January 2022' - and if it was archived, how come all the marketing information including photos is still there...? I have now got to provide private information about the house sale to Rightmove, including the Title, correspondence with my solicitor and also my ID. I find it outrageous that I have to provide this information to a company that I actually have no dealings with, but who have made an error and are trying to blame it on their 'archive' system as if this a normal thing to happen. Why only my property would be given the wrong information about the last time it was listed, and nobody else appears to have this problem, is anyone's guess. A property showing that it was listed but no sale made, can give negative impact to a prospective purchaser, should I ever actually want to move.
Edited to add: No apology or explanation as to how this came about. I was worried that some scammer was trying to sell my property - as you read about such things nowadays - and paid £7 to obtain an up to date copy of the Register to put my mind at ease. The response below is unacceptable. How did this happen? And why?

I called in as an agent with a couple of issues and Jamie Birley was able to sort everything out within 15 minutes. Even opting to call me back when the problem was solved rather than keeping me waiting on hold.

Great website and app. Easy to use and has always been my go to when searching for property.
Amazing app, amazing website, amazing cutomer support.
This would normally be a pay-to-use app.
Really really good, it has so many features, even some I discovered 2 weeks after starting to use it. Nothing can beat them at this moment.

I've seen updates on the filters that are great, I can now filter out auction properties, and I can choose whether I want to get freehold or leasehold results.

I have been a Rightmove member from the very beginning, but find that I can not login anymore, in either Chrome or Safari. On Safari, clicking Login does not open the login page. On Chrome, I get in a RIDICULOUS security loop of choosing 3 cartoon pictures to match the question from Rightmove. I complete this game to get the chance to enter my password, I enter my password, then get taken to another 3 question / match game, where I am successful, only to be asked to enter my passord AGAIN!!!! And so the loop continues. After nearly ONE HOUR of trying, I have decidede that RightIdiots no longer want my busuness, so I have just signed up to Zoopla. Advice to Rightmove - fire the idiots you employed in security, THEY ARE LOSING YOU BUSINESS FROM LOYAL CUSTOMERS....

I flagged up an issue with the filtering system - the site was unable to distinguish between property type when searching through sold property prices. The team replied that this was a previously unknown fault and it appeared to be with Scottish properties only due to the different data held by the land registries across the UK. The fault has now been fixed and it will make assessing the property market a lot easier when buying property in Scotland. Thank you!
