Rising Brook Car & Van Hire Reviews 

If I could rate 0 I would. Helped someone hire a van and paid their costs for hire/insurance waiver. The ladies on taking payment from me did not explain that if the hirer failed to bring back with adequate fuel, I would be charged. Those costs should be billed to the driver as per hire agreement and t&cs explained prior to taking payment!

I was so stressed due to another company letting me down with the delivery of an item, I reached out to Risingbrook who were nothing but helpful! Whilst they couldn’t offer me a rate for an hour they gave me a 4 hour rate with discount on. They had a van ready and understood I was in a high pressure situation.

I move house in 3 weeks time and will 10000% be using them again. They were helpful and reliable.

What a breath of fresh air this company is. From the ladies on the welcome desk to the kind gentleman who drive me to collect my car from the garage I couldn’t fault anything. Polite, efficient, informative staff. I would definitely recommend and reuse this company.

Andy the manager is extremely unhelpful and rude. His customer service skills do not exist and he does not like to deal with women. The problem with the van we encountered was not dealt with properly and I would not recommend dealing with this company.

If I could give 6 stars I would! What a fantastic service on work I had done on my Clio, staff are at helpful, and polite, most of all honest, As a woman on her own I felt total trust in this company, second to none, thankyou so much, I’ll be back 🥰

This was my third or fourth hire from Rising Brook and I am pleased to say that they continue to be the best vehicle hire firm I have ever used.

The staff are friendly and helpful and thoroughly professional and the vehicles are always of the highest quality and in excellent condition. Moreover I have repeatedly found their hire rates to be amongst the most competitive in the area with no nasty surprises.

To be honest, I don't even bother to look at other companies any more and would thoroughly recommend Rising Brook above any of their competitors.

Faced with a perfect storm of family related health issues impacting our vehicle needs the Rising Brook team worked conscientiously & patiently to ensure our many changing requirements were fully met. We consequently have nothing but admiration for their exceptional Customer Service & have absolutely no reservation in recommending them to others seeking vehicle/motorhome hire.

This company is amazing - I really cannot recommend highly enough! They always go out of their way to help in any situation! I was in on Saturday collecting a van I had hired and I see the woman has left an appalling review for this company on trust pilot. I can confirm as i was stood in the office waiting to collect my vehicle that the only person who was rude and arrogant was her!! The gentleman behind the counter remained calm during the entire experience and was polite. The stupid thing is - if she hadnt started yelling and stamping her feet and threatening the staff with poor reviews due to her own stupidity - they would have found her a vehicle.

I have used this company many many times - they are always courteous - helpful and understanding. They always go the extra mile with customer service and are never rude. I am staggered that people have the audacity to put a company down due to their own incompetence - I can only recommend this family run business and give nothing but a 5 star rating! Well done Risingbrook! You were much more polite than I would have been

Absolutely horrendous customer service,
It started with a phone to whilst I was working to which I asked that they call me back in half an hour to confirm that I could do the £500 deposit as I needed to talk with my partner - however I did not receive this phone call, and due to being busy with work this slipped my mind.

So then on arrival today I was met with a bloke who who was just rude and arrogant from the onset - things kept calm until he said to me and I quote “no offence but you should have called when you didn’t get a call back” - firstly I was busy with work, it’s not my job to remember yours! Secondly his tone and his attitude was completely awful I’m very much a people person but having being met with arrogance this really got on my last nerve I don’t know who he thinks he was talking to, maybe because I was a woman however his attitude was awful - I’ve never ever had to encounter such terrible customer service left me feeling awful.

I hired a car from Rising Brook for a short break in Northumberland last week.
The car was a 22 plate, very clean, Kia Ceed and was a pleasure to drive.
On returning home on Thursday I was mortified to see some damage to the passenger side sill and could not understand how it could have happened without me knowing about it.
When I returned the car to Rising Brook, I let the receptionist know that there was damage to report and was just about to explain when the gaffer came in and overheard. He said 'You mean the damage to the sill? That was already done'
I had not seen this upon collection of the vehicle and don't know how I missed it for a week of driving around but the staff at Rising Brook made my day with their honesty.
When I need a hire car in future, Rising Brook will definitely get my business.

Hired a New Motorhome for a week handover excellent cleanliness of the Motorhome 100% staff lovely and helpful
There let down by the manufacturer of the Motorhomes poor quality but we had a great week .

I have used Rising Brook for many years and I have always found the service at a very high standard. My family have used arising Brook for MOT and services as well as all of our motoring needs. They are efficient and very helpful. I highly recommend.

Took car for mot charged me 44pound to enline the lights ...where other companies charge 20 pound total rip off never use this family run business again ....you live and learn.... competitive prices...bull 🐂 crap
