Buyer Beware!

I purchased a flat sheet, fitted sheet and two standard pillowcases in the tuxedo stripe from the Ritz Carlton Shops. After receiving them I thought the pillowcases were too large to be considered standard-more like kings. I called the Shops and was told that was their standard size and that they would shrink after washing.
They didn't.
Also, the sheets are huge. I think they are made for an extremely thick mattress. My king is 18" tall.
I also returned a feather mattress. They would not cover return postage. Cost me $192 at UPS!
Please be aware that they are not transparent in their product descriptions or their return policy.
These products are not cheap!

Ritz carlton shops . Frette Linen

Disappointed – Not the Quality I Expected from Ritz-Carlton and Frette
I purchased the Classic White Linen Set by Frette from the official Ritz-Carlton Shops website, expecting the level of quality associated with both The Ritz-Carlton and Frette. The description clearly states, "Exclusively made by Frette® for The Ritz-Carlton," which led me to believe I was purchasing a premium, Italian-made product.
When the linens arrived, I was surprised to see they were labeled "Made in China," not Italy. The quality was underwhelming—especially the embroidery on the pillowcases, which didn’t even meet neatly at the corners. For a product marketed under two luxury brands, this felt disappointing and misleading.
To their credit, The Ritz-Carlton Shops customer service was responsive and refunded the purchase price when I contacted them—minus the postage. I appreciated the prompt resolution, though I do think customers deserve full transparency up front.
I’m sharing this to help others make an informed decision. This feels more like a branding exercise than a true reflection of the craftsmanship one would expect from Frette or The Ritz-Carlton. If you’re expecting luxury materials and Italian-made quality, I recommend asking specific questions before purchasing.
