Written by the company

Roadman Cycling is the world's most downloaded independent cycling podcast, built for serious amateurs who refuse to believe their best days are behind them. We bring World Tour coaches, sports scientists, and pro cyclists to the riders who need them most — the time-crunched amateur training before work, chasing a personal best, or preparing for the ride of a lifetime. Over 100 million downloads and counting. Our paid community, "Not Done Yet," delivers periodised training plans, weekly live coaching calls, and masterclasses from the same experts who guide the professional peloton. From nutrition periodisation to strength and conditioning, every piece of advice is grounded in the latest sports science — not recycled internet wisdom. Founded by Anthony Walsh. Cycling is hard. We help.

Absolutely phenomenal content

Absolutely phenomenal content. Advice and information is presented in a very digestible format and backed up by evidence with nuances explained by experts. I have implemented many of the recommendations with good results. Also, Anthony went out of his way to help me out as a complete stranger when I broke my cleat.

Recommend!

Anto is great and extremely knowledgeable on the cycling. If he doesn’t have the answer (unlikely) he’ll know someone does. Highly recommend.

Came for the podcast stayed for the pain cave!

I’ve been listening to the Roadman Cycling Podcast since its inception, and it just gets better and better. The variety of guest, from different backgrounds, all there trying to make life better is phenomenal . Highly recommend this.
I have also worked with Anthony as my coach and couldn’t recommend this enough if you want to improve. As a former professional who truly cares about your progress, it’s great working with him, especially as he is also a true student of cycling, training, and is always looking to improve.
Working with Anthony I got over a 30% increase in my FTP power over a 4 month period.

Roadman cycling is more than a podcast

Roadman cycling is more than a podcast, more than a coaching platform and more than a club - it's an all encompassing cycling community and a space where cyclists of all levels and abilities can thrive and develop together.

Listening, watching and doing - changed my opinions on cycling

Having read book after book after book on: coaching, nutrition, recovery, tactics, bike git and got so confused as to what was what - i simply gave up.

I was then told about the podcast by a friend who was waxing lyrical about Anthonys opinions on etiquette whilst on group rides. Since listening to my first podcast to now having listened to the whole back library, The Roadman podcast is my favourite cycling podcast by far and no other cast even comes close.

The humour, the language and also, the explanations by both Anthony and his guests means that I am personally gaining so much knowledge which is then helping me whilst on my bike.

I listened and read intently all of the details about the: Roadman Not Done Yet training program and decided to give the program a go. Having somewhat 'embellished' the truth when initially speaking to Anthony about weight etc, I started working with Anthony and his team in October 25.

Having spent (what seemed) like an additional life time riding at Z1 and Z2, listening to the advice and doing the training plans as exactly outlined, I have lost more weight than I could have ever imagined, my FTP has gone up and of course my power to weight ratio or Watts Per Kilogram has increased significantly too.

The racing season has started and even with all of the work that I have done, I have still got catch up to play but, I can quite honestly say that I know that I can catch up. I have to keep on believing in the process and executing boring

This is where it gets very interesting.....listening to the podcast and following the training program my historical beliefs of: Eat less to lose weight, train harder and harder to achieve more, dont have a day off, chain gangs at least twice per week and destroy yourself, when not 'outside' - race on zwift and destroy yourself in races.....HAVE ALL CHANGED and i have literally had a 180 degree change.

Using Hexis as recommended by Anthony and Dr David Dunne - I am eating and drinking more than ever both on the bike and off the bike BUT, at the right times and with the right mixture of things such as: carbs, protein and fats which are based on what I am actually doing or have done. Training has become fun and disciplined - even though there are times where I was I could join a group ride with my pals and, I am having days off which means I am gaining brownie points at home.

I have already given my opinion of the podcast but the training program and the other group members are a breath of fresh air. How I wish that such a program and group was available many years ago. That I had stripped everything back to basics and almost started all over again from scratch without any preconceived ideas or dangerous snippets of information that I misunderstood or the person telling me had misunderstood.

I am looking forward to the coming months, seeing how far I can push myself and how high i can raise the bar or, how high Anthony and his team raise the bar for me to aim at.

Give it a shot

joined the Not Done Yet coaching program 7 months ago. with the amount of attention and guidance I have been receiving I am on track to crush my A priority race. I actually find one of the most helpful features of the program is the community... so many like minded cyclists chatting daily about tech, kit, aero, pro cycling. WOuld highly recommend!

Roadman is like a good honest training partner who's never late to show up

Big fan of the Roadman Concept. Cycling has been a huge part of my life and has helped me in so many ways, from physical, mental strength and making life long friends. The Podcast hosts bring out the fun and interesting aspects from real people I've raced with or watched on TV and gives me a sense of home when Im out riding alone in the wilderness. Keep bringing us more of your opinionated insights, and stay original.

The Roadman Cycling Podcast is hands…

The Roadman Cycling Podcast is hands down one of the best cycling podcasts out there. Anthony and Sarah brings a mix of knowledge, honest conversation, and genuine passion for the sport. If you love the ins and outs of the world of cycling, this is for you.

What really sets this podcast apart is the quality of the guests and the depth of the discussions. From world-class coaches and pro riders to experts in nutrition, recovery, and performance, the conversations are practical, inspiring, and never feel superficial. You can tell Anthony and Sarah genuinely care about helping cyclists improve, not just creating content for clicks.

Highly recommended.

Real World Knowledge & Coaching For…

Real World Knowledge & Coaching For Real World Cycling

I started out as a listener to the podcast early in 2022, and later that year became a direct coaching customer as I prepped for both The Rift & The Traka 2023 gravel races, I was a typical club cyclist pushing as hard as I could with no structure, thinking more kms = better performance. Working with Anthony he built a structure for me that helped me become a much better cyclist. In 2023 I knocked 1hr off my Rift time from the previous year, plus my fitness was a whole lot better. Whether it's the podcast, personalised or group coaching or the Roadman Cycling camps, I highly recommend Roadman Cycling for all levels of cyclists, especially MAMIL's like myself ;-)
