18 months ago I collided with an elderly couple on a busy road. Although the impact was low the lady had osteoporosis and suffered several fractures. Later I was charged with causing serious injury by careless driving, a new offence which carries a minimum ban of a year and even a potential prison sentence. I looked at several traffic lawyers but chose Steven on the basis of his no nonsense approach, honest advice and the offer of a fixed fee. He and Andrew have been extremely helpful and professional throughout a most worrying time, culminating in yesterday's court case where Steven forensically dismantled the Crown's evidence and witness testimony. It would have been a joy to watch had I not been so stressed! He also instructed an expert witness who added considerable weight to our case. It became clear even before the end that things were looking hopeful but such a relief when the Sheriff gave her "Not Guilty" verdict. I couldn't recommend Roadtrafficlaw any more highly. Can't praise Steven and his firm at Road Traffic Law enough. Facing a dangerous driving charge through speed and a ban which would result in losing my job leading to other financial difficulties. Steven provided an honest opinion of his expectations of my case and was very clear throughout the 18 months it took to actually go to trial. Kept in the loop at every opportunity either via Email or F2F by either Steven or Andrew. When it called at court, Steven informed myself, he had managed to drop get the charge dropped to careless driving which was significant. The next challenge was damage limitations so to speak, again, Steven made no guarantees and conveyed his expectations clearly. Steven was fantastic on his delivery of my case to the sherif, eventually resulting in 4 points and a small fine. Steven was amazing he kept me informed the whole way through the case right up till court then in court pushed for a dismissal of the case as the prosecution had failed tk bring evidence to court and it was dismissed after that so a successful case.
