Feedback for Sajia – Roasting Plant Coffee (12:40 PM visit)

As I walked in, I headed straight to the barista bar where I was greeted with a smile. The barista answered my questions promptly and clearly, especially as I was looking for a light roast and they mainly offer medium ones. He was helpful and gave me good explanations.

Then I moved over to the “coffee towers” area to learn more about the different blends and single origins available. That’s when Sajia approached me and offered her help. She took the time to answer all my questions with patience and clarity, and guided me toward the coffee that best matched what I was looking for. She also let me know about the current promotion – a free coffee for every 250g of beans purchased – which was a nice surprise.

We went to the till together and here I Had my free coffee as a double espresso. Honestly, it was great. I had already had 2/3 coffees earlier in the morning, so I had to stop there, but she was offering me more tries/samples.

Overall, I got a really good vibe from the barista at the bar and especially from Sajia. She made the whole experience personal, informative, and welcoming. I appreciated her time and the care she put into helping me. Great service!

Glad to be back at Roasting Plant South Molton Street Branch.

Though used to be here daily, I haven’t been since before Christmas.

Naturally I tried many other coffee shops, however I can honestly say that this is the best cafe latte.

Need to mention the excellent customer service of the entire team

Great news : Now Roasting Plant have their own Internet network

Very nice coffee, I was waiting outside the Holborn branch in a truck so I thought I’d treat myself to a nice coffee, and it was a treat, and served by a very pleasant lovely girl called Hamida.

Ordered a couple of tasting packs (bold and balanced and mild). Disappointed to see purchase date on packs instead of roasted date. Not sure how old coffee beans are or how long I should be resting them… coffee is ok, some hard to pull properly due to maybe being too fresh?

I went there randomly one day looking for some coffee for my espresso machine. Arriving there, I was pleasantly surprised by the greenish and fancy design. When looking at the wide variety of coffees, it was hard to make a decision for a first try. I saw a group of employees doing a coffee tasting with who I suppose was a new employee there. When they finished, I asked if I also could try some, which was happily agreed on. Thanks to this, I could make a much better informed decision and decided to get some.
At the time, I got some Brazilian roast and Decaf as well. That was the very first time I enjoyed a decaf espresso. Later on, as I was having a lot of coffee at home, I decided to go for the subscription to make my life easier. As there was a lot of choice on the website, I asked some help to get some insights on what would be the best for my tastes. This is when the fantastic Kallie appeared. She helped a lot and suggested the Kenyan roast which was absolutely perfect for my needs and tastes. Thanks again for that!
Later on, when they stopped the Kenyan roast, beforehand, I received another email from Kallie who suggested to move to the Ethiopian which was the perfect new choice and along, she included some samples of others to help confirming that the advice was definitely the best.
Kallie really makes this place a jewel so please, have a try and enjoy the roast that fits your buds.
