Absolutely disgusted with the service…
Absolutely disgusted with the service from Rockingham LDV.
We returned our vehicle to the dealership on 10 September with a list of issues that needed to be addressed, including the serious and potentially dangerous power-loss issue that has been happening since 2022.
Yes, you read that correctly — we have been dealing with this power-loss issue for around four years.
The vehicle has previously experienced sudden loss of power and cutting out/stalling, including while travelling at highway speeds. Despite raising this issue previously and having the vehicle looked at, the problem has continued to occur.
We made it very clear when handing the vehicle in on 10 September that we need it back and properly sorted before our family holiday to Jurien Bay on 25 September.
We called today, 17 September, expecting an update, only to be told that they haven't even started working on the vehicle yet.
So the vehicle has now been sitting at the dealership for a full week, despite us clearly explaining the urgency and, more importantly, despite the fact that one of the issues involves the vehicle losing power while driving.
This isn't a minor cosmetic issue. A vehicle suddenly losing power, particularly when travelling at highway speeds and potentially towing a caravan, is a serious safety concern.
What is even more frustrating is that this problem has been ongoing since 2022. We have repeatedly raised it, yet here we are in 2026 and still haven't had a permanent solution.
We have given Rockingham LDV every opportunity to rectify these problems, but being told after a week that nothing has even been done is extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable.
We have a family holiday booked for 25 September and deliberately allowed plenty of time for the dealership to investigate and repair the vehicle. We shouldn't have to be chasing the dealership for updates or wondering whether our vehicle will actually be safe and ready to use.
Rockingham LDV — we need answers, we need the vehicle properly diagnosed and repaired, and we need it done before 25 September.
After everything we've already experienced with this vehicle, our confidence in both the vehicle and the after-sales service is now seriously deteriorating.
I would appreciate someone from management contacting me and explaining why the vehicle has sat there for a week without the work even being started, what is actually being done to resolve this dangerous power-loss problem, and why a problem we've been reporting since 2022 still hasn't been permanently fixed.
