i was recommended this website by a …friend of mine.

i was recommended this website by a friend of mine who lives in Rome. She said that it offers 400 plus properties in Rome but you book with through the properties own official website so you get a much cheaper rate... i checked out a few hotels and then did a price comparison with Booking.com... all 3 hotels i checked were cheaper than booking.com so i booked one , near Spanish Steps which was which was 16 euro a night cheaper than on other portals.... Well chuffed with my choice!
