cost me a tenner to try it and its rubbish, you cant stage photos for estate agency selling as it doesn't let you give it an idea of room size so sticks a bed in that makes the room look much bigger than it is, there is no conatct me on the website, it charges you for every design and you might only be able to use 1 in 10, it shoud only charge you for downloads - that would be fair then it can make all the mistakes it wants. Its meant to be idiot proof but it isn't. It changed the loo and cabinet in my bathroom, so i couldn't use that pic, I just wanted loo seat down and fluffy towels.... no way of getting that. Waste of money. Thank god i didn't subscribe. I reckon no feedback on the site means give me your money and get lost

Disappointing. Probably not the solution for smaller projects or those wanting value for money.
My experience started out with energy and excitement, but progress became slow and communication with my allocated designer was poor. The design options were small tweaks on the existing layouts (mine was a 2 room project), which quite honestly with more time, I could have arrived at myself. If my rooms were too small for me to get value from the RoomLab offering, RoomLab should have made this clear up front, and I wouldn't have invested my fee. The recommended purchases were circulated on links, but it was hard to explore suppliers and get comfort around these. After further investigation I found many of the items could be purchased myself through high street suppliers that I understand and can easily buy from myself Made.com, John Lewis, and others. One key item I needed to buy was a sofabed. I wanted a comfy sofa which was also a bed. Nicola intercepted my designer and was able to make a strong recommendation, with a 7.5% discount, which was great, however overall I feel I have paid vastly over the service supplied. Lounge and spare room in a 4 bed house, took c. 3 months, and included one purchase (sofabed).

After using Roomlab for the first time, I could not be happier with the results! Nicole took my ideas on board and suggested many more to help complete the look of my living room, I couldn't have done it without her.
The costumer service was brilliant at making sure all items were delivered speedily. I felt the entire service was 5*, I have recommended to all my friends and I can't wait to use them again!

Room Lab is an awesome concept and a talented and brilliant team! They helped redesign our lounge areas and we are thrilled with the result. Even my husband who is not bothered by interiors was blown away by the difference they made to the space. From the initial discussion to suggestions and the buying and set up, it was all don't by a friendly and helpful team who really know their stuff. CEO Suzann has really struck gold with this concept and her choice of team. Can't wait to use them again and highly recommended!

Wow! I have loved working with Suzann and Nicole to bring a beautiful new look to my rather neglected home. I had grand ambitions and they have delivered on all fronts - curbing me in when I needed it, but indulging me where they could! They are both extremely personable and easy to work with - not to mention talented and delivering a first class service that's also fun.

We absolutely love our design - the whole process has been totally seamless and we would not hesitate to recommend the team at RoomLab.

We asked RoomLab to redesign and furnish 3 rooms in our house. We were a little unsure about how much could be achieved during lock down and the need to do everything remotely. We needn't have worried, the results were amazing and the process was so easy. We were put at ease from the very first call and our designer Nicole was absolutely fantastic. Our thoughts and ideas were taken on board and we loved Nicole's ideas from the start. There's no way we would've achieved anything near the results without Nicole's help and guidance. I have no reservations at all about recommending RoomLab, the service and the results are first class.

I have worked with RoomLab on three separate occasions, each time I am impressed with their patience and determination to get to the right outcome for me. They do a great job of balancing my requirements with my budget and I always end up with something that I like. Will absolutely use them again and would happily recommend them to my friends and family.

It has been such fun working with Nicole, my designer, and the RoomLab team! Nicole has worked tirelessly with me to develop amazing designs for my living/dining room and master bedroom, neither entirely straightforward. I really appreciate how quickly Nicole "got" what I wanted, even when I couldn't articulate it, as well as her ability to take my ideas where they were clear and to improve upon them. Nicole's patience and creativity when I couldn't quite see it/ we needed to iterate on elements of the design are commendable; I too often know what I DON'T want and Nicole masterfully helped me to figure out what I DO want in my home. We stayed pretty much on budget and succeeded in blending new and vintage pieces, as well as some of my existing furniture and art, to create designs that work for my life and reflect my personality. I am thrilled with the final designs, and am now enjoying bringing them to life. 

The pandemic and subsequent supply chain disruptions have made things much harder for everyone at RoomLab, and Nicole and the team have responded really well with professionalism, patience and creativity.  They have offered up creative, alternative solutions as needed to ensure projects can be completed without compromising on the design and minimising disruption. 

I would love to work with RoomLab again and only wish I had a bigger home with more rooms to design! It's a great model delivered by a wonderful team. Happy designing!

Fantastic service and fun! We had a superb experience working with RoomLab. From my initial call with Suzann through to delivery of products everything in-between has been such a joy.
We had a not long completed a 2 year house build project and whilst the house was complete there were many rooms internally that needed finishing touches and new ideas as we had ran out of energy for the last interior design bits!
RL were flexible and attentive to our preferences and style and helped us to make our lounge, family room, master bedroom, dressing area and landing all feel finally finished with a mixture of really stylish and cool final touches. We worked with Nicole who was fantastic and a fab stylist. I thoroughly enjoyed the consultation and design process. Nothing was ever too much trouble or hassle.
A brilliant business concept and great customer service, what more could you ask for :-) Would highly recommend.

RoomLab did a wonderful job of designing my toddler's new bedroom! We are absolutely thrilled and so is she! The process was quick and effective over email and such a lovely end result! Thank you RoomLab - our second success story with you after our fab kitchen revamp last year!

I found RoomLab while searching for an online Interior Designer. I really loved their concept, the packages/pricing and they also had great reviews, so I decided to give it a go.
Let me say, I cannot recommend them highly enough!
The entire process was easy and smooth, the RoomLab team is fantastic, very friendly, quick to respond and help out with any questions.
Our designer Gita did a marvellous job. We had a kick off call with her where we talked about our style, preferences etc and the design for our living room exceeds our expectations! Communication was also always great too!
Furthermore, I love the hassle free ordering process offered by RoomLab.
So, if you have a redecoration project, give them a try!

I am sad to write this review but unfortunately had a very frustrating experience with RoomLab. The design experience was great but the overall customer service has been appalling. This meant that I had to follow-up for two weeks to get my order placed. There was also lack of attention to detail meaning that items were sent to the wrong address and we had to go to the old address and collect items. As a result, we are how 8+ weeks after finalising the design and several items have not yet arrived.

Just finished the design. Best idea ever. The room looks amazing. If you don't have the time or the taste to do this yourself it is money well spent.

The RoomLab team have been exemplar in helping us to finally finish three rooms in our house that had sat 80% done for over a year and were driving us a bit crazy. I thought that this may be a service for empty rooms but on speaking to Suzann it seems they are in the process of updating their website and offering. She offered me a bundle price for the work that needed doing and was very fair. Thanks to Nathalie in customer service and out designer Anna. We love the new items and how it all feels pulled together. Will definitely be recommending them in future.

We've had such a brilliant and personal experience with RoomLab. Our four rooms have been exemplar and completely matched the vision we had. Not only that but they have taken the stress from product acquisition and returns - a truly wonderful service. We have carried out our projects throughout the current covid crisis, and despite that, they have been very reliable, flexible and reassuring with their communication. A very big thank you to the whole team - Sarah, Suzann, Nathalie and Erica.

I had the pleasure of working with Room Lab on two rooms. We decorated my 2 year old daughters bedroom and a family room/study together. I have always really struggled to have vision when it comes to interior design, and never had the budget to work with a designer. I chose room lab because they provide the personalised design service at a fraction of the cost. I'm thrilled with the end result of both rooms. The service was absolutely exceptional and to a very high standard. I would not hesitate in working with them again.

Prices
Echoing the comments of an earlier poster. All previous reviews need to be declared null and void. They referred to a service that cost £299 that has now increased to £699.

If the £699 is a better service then run it as an option alongside the £299 service. If it's to pay the desingers more, fine, but 100%??
