No bed delivered and been chasing a refund and still nothing

Bed never arrived, kept on getting delayed. Asked for a refund and still chasing the money! Never use this company!

The bed itself is very pretty. Delivery was a little on the long side but happy with the purchase and woudl shop with Rooms To Grow again in the future

Excellent bed, wide range to choose from and at a decent price. Goods arrived just when I expected following a pre-delivery call and the a call from the driver when we were the next stop.

I found all the negative reviews and information about insolvency very distressing and stressful after ordering our daughter’s bunk bed. So, would just like to post that we ordered a week ago and were given a delivery slot the next day, which we assumed was fictional and we would be very disappointed. The bed has just arrived as promised. We haven’t put it up yet but the company is definitely genuine and the customer service and communicated and delivery time has been 5 Star. So, not sure what is going on here at Trust Pilot!

Great quality & good value. Bought on sale and was the best price I could find online. Now it’s set up looks exactly like the image online. Good purchase overall

I am certain these are scammers don’t use them! Been promised a bed and a refund for months. No telephone number just emails promising delivery and refunds. Go to a reputable company.

Easy to deal with

DO NOT USE. I purchased a bed from Room to Grow only 2 years ago and had no problems. I ordered the same bed for my second child on 1 September this year. It was on 8-10 weeks delivery. Not ideal but I knew that when I ordered it. 10 weeks came and I’d heard nothing so chased it up and was told the bed was in the warehouse and the delivery team would be in contact to arrange delivery. Another week went by with no contact so I chased up and was told they would chase delivery. I then came on here and saw the recent reviews. I chased delivery again, no response. I finally said that I needed the bed dispatching without further delay or a refund. I then received a notification that my order had been cancelled. Clearly it was never in the warehouse and I had been misled. Their terms are that refunds will be processed within 14 days of cancellation. That gives them until tomorrow. I’m not holding my breath based on other reviews. It is absolutely appalling that they’ve had MY money for over 13 weeks and their actions suggest no intention to fulfil the contract. I’m left thinking that court action will be necessary to reclaim my money yet they continue to advertise with sponsored ads on social media.

UPDATE 17/12 RTG have not refunded my money. They have stated today that a refund was processed on 6/12 but I have contacted Amazon Pay who confirm that is not the case and it appears RTG have been running down the clock until the claim period under Amazon Pay guarantee expires.

They clearly have their staff well trained in deceiving customers.

SECOND UPDATE
Following RTG’s claim that they had already processed my refund (they had not) I asked for evidence of that. Unsurprisingly they have failed to provide that evidence. Clearly because it does not exist.

It is appalling how the company appears to feel that it is at liberty to ride roughshod over consumer rights and retain money to which it is not entitled. This is tantamount to theft or obtaining money by deception.

If I could leave no stars I would DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a bed in April and was told
It would take 10 weeks. Every time I chased it I was fobbed off. Eventually in August I decided to cancel it. I was told I’d receive a refund in 14 days. No refund was given. They are a complete scam and I wish I had researched more before buying from them

Placed an order back in October for a high sleeper, paid over £900 with installation too. They kept extending the delivery time and after reading all the negative reviews I decided to cancel my order. They told me I’d have the refund within 14 days, it’s now been 3 weeks and I’ve still not had my money back. I’ve sent countless emails with no reply. My daughter is sleeping on a mattress on the floor and we can’t order a new bed until
we get our money back. Please don’t order from this site.

After an unacceptable delay to my bed delivery well over the estimated delivery window the team were unable to tell me when my bed might arrive. i cancelled my order and have now been waiting weeks for a refund, the response times have always been slow with only email and no direct phone lines and now no one is replying to me, terrible service do not use

Decent quality bed bought for my 10 year old son. Reasonable value , straightforward to build and looks decent enough while quite practical as well

Good item and experience

Couldnt speak more highly after my order with Room2Grow. The bed is fantastic, i spend ages researching different options and found the perfect combination on their website.

Delivery was a little lengthy but whenever we enquired i got an immediate response with an update and when the bed did arrive we were so pleased. We've gone from a basic single so having so much storage now is just a dream and lets our 9 year old keep her room just a little bit more tidy

Ordered Bed for my son in April. Promised Delivery in 8 - 10 weeks. No Bed. Sent an email every Monday asking when the bed would be delivered - they said it was down to the delivery team to contact me. They never did. Eventually in August, i cancelled my order and they promised a refund in 7 working days. Every Monday for 3 months i followed up asking where the refund was - and they said it was being processed. Still no refund.
One disappointed lad that his bed still has not been delivered.

Excellent quality bed & extremely good value. Paying for installation was well worth the money.

Purchased as a birthday gift for my grandson in his new house and he seems over the moon with the gift , i think he enjoys the section where he has his computer games console set up

In summary a good buy and happy to give a 5 star review

I wanted something which was both fun and practical at the same time. The fort bed ticked both boxes. Great bed my son and his friends love playing under it
