Third time with RSD, very good value, couriers very good and helpful, especially Abdullah on our recent Capadoccia trip. Some parts of the coach transfers can be long distance but with frequent stops... See more

Traveled to countries which I've never…
Traveled to countries which I've never been to before and was unsure of. I had a great time and would highly recommend. A lot of travelling involved but worth it. To experience these places before they become too over crowded with tourists is the best time to go.

Trip to India
My recent trip to India, a 12 day cultural tour was amazing. It certainly lived up to expectations. Rajastan was stunning and our guide, Alok, made sure we saw everything of interest on the way. Very knowledgeable and interesting. The highlight for me was visiting a Krishna Temple during the Holi celebrations. Truly joyous. Our driver and co driver were patient and always helpful. Thank you RSD for a memorable holiday and good value for the money.

The whole trip was well organised…
The whole trip was well organised from start to finish . The hotels were excellent and so was the food . Our guide Alok was extremely knowledgeable and provided insight into this amazing country , he even included additional trips not included in the itinerary. I will never forget the cow sanctuary !
The driver Viki was incredibly skilled and kept us all safe on the busy and chaotic roads . And Ravi the Co pilot made sure we had water and was generally very helpful . I am not too keen on visiting carpet / textile warehouses but i did enjoy the refreshments handed out during this , particularly the rum !!! All in all a wonderful experience, one I will never forget

Wonderful memories
Wanted to visit India for ever booked this trip with RSD was not disappointed. It was everything I hoped it would be. Alok the guide was without doubt the most impressive guide I have ever met. His knowledge about everything was second to non. He also added a few extra treats to visit some sites not listed. The driver and the porter also added too this wonderful experiance. Yes it was full on and tyring but worth it. Once again thank you Alok and your team memories to last a lifetime.

Good tour horrible people
We went on the Enchanting Balkans Tour
This is a very full on tour with 5 border crossings and you do spend a lot of time on the coach, but it is well worth it for what you get to see.
Flights all OK, hotels probably more like 3 rather than 4 star except the one in Shkoder which definitely a 4.
We did not take the half board option as we like to do our own thing, did not have any real issues in finding restaurants but if this is not your thing then the half board option would be better.
There is a 2 cruise 1 cultural evening package that is extra, we had the option to pick 1,2 or all 3 when we got there.
We had done 1 boat trip before so settled for the other 2, the cultural evening is very good but ridiculous overpriced as is the price of the drinks at the hotel it is staged at.
Our driver was fantastic ( I wish I could mention his name ) he went out of his way to make the journeys as comfortable as possible.
Our guide ( Hameer ? ) was also brilliant despite having some of the most obnoxious rude and awkward people you could wish to meet.
They wanted more time here, less time somewhere else, to go of and do there own thing and be picked up later, stomping up and down the isle of the coach when our guide expanded he had to stick to the schedule which is clearly written in the brochure beforehand.
Despite all of this he did his best to try and keep everyone happy, but for some nothing was ever good enough.
To end I would definitely book with RSD again and just hope the people on the next tour are better than a few on this one who despite there best efforts did not ruin the tour for the rest of us

True RSD style: what they can fit in, they will!
A whirlwind tour, plenty of travelling but many great sites to see.
Not our first trip and after 5, we will certainly be returning.
Great prices, a few negatives but overall good value for money.

Just done a trip to India with RSD
Just done a trip to India with RSD. Although the holiday was fast pace we saw so much. It was an eye opener made much better with a very informative guide. Alok Tripathi was in deed a great ambassador for the company who went out of his way to ensure that all people on the trip got the best.

Another excellent RSD holiday !
Recently returned from our 4th fantastic RSD holiday.
Sensational historical sites, stunning hotels, very knowledgeable and helpful local guides, altogether excellent value for money.
Rhodes and The Aegean this last fortnight, with superb weather; even better than expected for the time of year.
So many new friendships created with fellow travellers.
Totally recommended.

We keep coming back for more
Just returned today from the Balkans Tour. It was our fourth tour with RSD (Previously: Croatia, Cappadocia and Rhodes & Turkey) They have all been interesting experiences and excellent value for money. Nearly all the hotels have been a very good standard, with the odd rogue exception but bear in mind that you are often staying in non-tourist areas and it's a credit to RSD that they can source the accommodation for so many people in out of the way places. ( You will read adverse reviews from some people, there was the odd few on our tours complaining, but keep in perspective what you paid and you can't expect to stay at 5 star hotels) We've recommended RSD to friends and we've booked for Sri Lanka next year.

Great Experience Great Value
Recently returned from the Rhodes and Turkey trip. This was our third RSD tour and they have all been really interesting experiences. Well organised with good standard of hotels. (Taking into account that you are not generally stopping in major tourist areas with well known hotel chains) Our full week in Rhodes was at the 4 star Rodos Palace in a swanky seaview room. We've recommended RSD to friends and are booked for more tours in the future

The good, the bad and the ugly
The best thing about the tour was our guide, Alok. He was fantastic! Did an excellent job, very knowledgeable, caring, took full charge of the tour and added more places to the itinerary. Our driver, Viki, was also superb as was Rami, the helper. Alok handled the whole trip in the best possible way.
RSD, on the other hand, did not support us before the trip - did not pass on dietary requirements to the hotels. Did not help with e-visa details and although my partner and I were both on the booking they refused to speak to me and were rather unhelpful. They should be versed in the e-visa application if any issues instead of passing us to number in India which didn't reply.
Few hotels under par including lack of towels, taps very loose or impossible to turn. Subsequent flood in one room. However guide most helpful.

An amazing Andalusia Holiday Experience …
We recently returned from our holiday to Andalusia with RSD and it was, without any shadow of doubt, one of the best holidays we ever had. The airport transfers on arrival and departure went smoothly, and our guide Sebastian was professionally superb. The hotel facilities were outstanding, very clean, comfortable, airy and spacious apartments. The meals were delicious, of a wide variety with themed nights reflected in menu choices-American, Mexican, Spanish, Chinese, etc.
The tour excursions were truly magnificent and just amazing, which enabled us to explore the length and breadth of Andalusia at very reasonable costs, including trips to Saville,Malaga, Granada, Marbella, Cordoba,as well as a trip to Gibraltar. It is almost too good to be true, but it is that RSD can put together such an excellent travel package for the price we paid. This is what makes RSD that good value for money-a unique selling point, which will be difficult for beat.
Well done, RSD! We have already booked our next trip with you and look forward to travelling with you for many years to come.

Cultural and relaxing bargain holiday
We have travelled with RSD six times. All have fun like clockwork and enjoyable. The latest was Istanbul and Agean
We like a week of cultural touring and a second week of relaxing.
All our guides have been great and the hotels are modern and clean.
The coaches are comfortable and modern.
The flights are standard economy flights with just enough leg room.
Great value.

RSD provided us with a great tour guide…
RSD provided us with a great tour guide Erol and driver Hasan, who were both so helpful during our first week of touring the Lycia region which was fascinating with amazing history and landscapes. Our second week in the Seher Sun Palace Hotel was superb with two more brilliant outings organised through Vikret the tour guide at the hotel. So impressed with the service and standard provided and enjoyed the disco nights with Batuhan the DJ.

RSD Lycia
Travelled at low season (mid March) fortunately timed perfectly for weather turning a pleasantly warm 19 degrees. Ephesus and Dalyan river boat tour (included) were half day events and fabulous. Tour guide was a fountain of knowledge and looked after us well. Food package was excellent with one or two acceptable lows. Accommodation always clean and inviting. Of the three tour excursions, only the Pamukkale half day was worth it as it was impressive both for the thermal features and the magnificent Hierapolis historic site. The other two were disappointing for the money (Myra - small, and Sirince - rustic shopping), both should have been included for free. Shopping experiences were like fascinating museum visits with shopping opportunities attached, so actually quite good - if you can resist the temptation to buy. As the guide said, “You are all adults and no-one can make you buy!”. Average age of group >60, and lots of walking and steps, so not for everyone, but would definitely do it again.

First time using RSD Travel Ltd
This was our first trip with RSD and our first trip to India. I must admit to being a little nervous as we really didn’t know what to expect. We needn’t have worried, right from arriving at the airport in India right the way through to returning to the airport to come home we were looked after in every aspect from quality hotels, a knowledgeable tour guide. Comfortable coach and excellent driver. Our fellow travellers were good company and we saw lots of exciting sites including The Taj Mahal and Red Fort. We even had an elephant ride. While we were in India we booked our next trip with RSD to Rhodes in April. We will keep checking the website for another exciting trip to somewhere else new. Margaret from Aberdeen, Scotland

An interesting tour of Knights Templar Rhodes and Aegean Turkey. The best site was the combination of Pammukale hot springs and the ruins of Hierapolis. Rhodes Old Town, Lindos and Ephesus were also sites with plenty to see.
