Went to Runners Need in Aberdeen for a Gait Analysis to fit me into some new running shoes.
Absolutely brilliant service from Conor. Knowledgeable, professional and passionate.
We tried a few pairs to see what worked for me and ultimately left very satisfied with my choice.
Thank you, Conor.

Booked in for a gait analysis at the Manchester deansgate store, the lad that came up to do it was not very interested from the off. Basically just going through the motions, did not discuss my expectations nor my running habits. Asked for my size for my neutral shoe, was then told that none were available. Even asked for a size either way and none available. I then asked if the store actually had any stock in my size (size 7, so not an obscure size) to sell, I was informed that they didn't. Bare in mind that I travelled over an hour to get to the store for a pointless visit. Absolutely shocking and very disappointed with the service. Very glad I didn't give them my custom and went elsewhere.

I had a running analysis done for my birthday at the Guildford branch and it was so incredibly interesting. To have my run analysed and corrected was eye-opening. I dealt with someone called Maisy and she was nice, professional, knowledgeable and just really kind. She definitely made this whole experience brilliant.
Ended up buying some trainers that fit beautifully, supportive and I've noticed that my running is a fair amount faster and this is down the the advice, fit and comfort.

Runners Need at Camden Market is a gem for anyone looking for the right shoes! Just a 3-minute walk from the station, they have an amazing selection. We arrived just 8 minutes before closing and luckily met a fantastic staff member who really knew her stuff. She was patient, gave great tips, and best oart is she never rushed us. I left with the perfect pair thanks to her expertise. If you want the perfect fit, this is the spot!

Ordered a pair of trainers on SUNDAY and they arrived the next day before lunch. You can't get a better service than that. The trainers I ordered are the most comfortable I've ever had. Might sneak another order in while my better half isn't looking.

I went to a running event and got an opportunity to try out and run in a pair of Brooks Ghost 16 running shoes. I thought the shoes were pretty good and decided to order some when I got home. I searched the website and came across Runners Need. The website was excellent to navigate and order from without the flannel you normally get. Once ordered I received a number of notifications about the order and delivery dates until I finally got the order delivered to my home. I was updated every step of the way. Note with shoes you have to know what you exactly want otherwise you may run into issues regarding returns. For me however Runners Need provided a very good all round service. Well done.

I have today received my new brooks running shoes. On arrival they have clearly been worn. Dirty on the bottom with a bit of the rubber coming away. Absolutely shocking paying so much money and you are sending out used, faulty shoes. You try to return them as damaged and they try to charge you.

The service was absolutely fabulous. Really thorough profiling of my needs and the salesperson (Owen) was extremely knowledgeable. There is clearly a high level of training given as he really knew his stuff about different conditions and difficulties with feet; and also knew the stock so was able to make recommendations. He then to time to ensure the fit was fine tuned and was extremely attentive. As a novice runner, I felt very confident I was given well thought out advice. Excellent - would recommend

I just wanted to comment on their customer service. I had issues with my order but the customer service was brilliant. Very quick to respond and with appropriate solutions. Can't give them a fully 5 stars because of the issues but a number of other companies and only e businesses could certainly learn from them.

I order my trainers every year form Runners, they always arrive in time, this year I somehow did a mistake in my order and support were too helpful and friendly, they even did an exception and refunded me back, really kind of them.

Had a really positive experience in Brecon today. The chap doing my gait analysis couldn’t have been more knowledgeable, told me what I needed to know without telling me what I knew. Felt he completely understood what I was looking for and he did all the thinking for me whilst making sure I was happy with my purchase. It’s people like him that make the world a fab place to be. Have come away really pleased and can’t wait to try my new runners out. There was no hard sale but much more of an interest in getting completely the right trainer. Cant recommend more highly. Also parking in Brecon was lush - car parks everywhere!

I booked a Gait Analysis at the Windsor store and was met with the great service of one of their employees, Isaac. (He did say he was from another store though, covering in Windsor that day)
He was attentive and extremely knowledgeable both about the Gait Analysis (which was immensely helpful) and the trainer options. I left very happy with my purchase and the overall experience. There is no doubt I could have just bought trainers on Amazon - and they'd have been cheaper - but it was worth buying it from Runners Need from the service.

A fantastic experience with the Beverley team. Had my gait analysis done alongside the purchase of some new shoes and was blown away by not only the shop itself but more so the service as rendered by Dan, Hannas and Trev. Super friendly and welcoming, very knowledgeable and persistent with ensuring my order went through as planned as I’d caused some issues with a vitality discount. Best retail experience I’ve had in years!

I had a gait analysis and shoe fitting done. I was there for about 45 minutes and the guy working there had so much experience and immediately knew my pain points. He made some excellent recommendations and my new shoes and insoles are so comfy.
Would highly recommend.

I've been running for 40 years now, and have gait analysis done every 5 years or so. I was super-impressed by staff member Benn in Manchester Deansgate, who carried out my most recent gait analysis. His knowledge of shoes is encyclopaedic, and he gave me detailed product information on each of the 7 or 8 pairs he chose for me to try. He answered all my questions with patience and good humour, and explained my performance in each shoe by talking me through the videos. I left with the pair that we agreed suited me best, and I've just done my first run in them––which was amazing!! I really can't thank Benn enough for his professionalism and his customer-focused approach. If you can get to this store, run don't walk!!

Disgusting Service!
Went into the Brighton shop. Three customers in footwear upstairs and two assistants. Nearly half an hour later just one customer. But the female went and busied herself cashing up the till. Whilst waiting I was walking through multiple shoes and boxes previous customer had been trying on.
After being ignored for another half an hour I walked out.
I certainly will never be running in their direction again!

I mean they are always decent (and fast delivery) - but their selection of shoes on their website is really poor (hardly any sizes to match, and very small selection). Alongside this, their prices are not competitive compared to many other retailers.
I can’t go into shop as I don’t have one near me. I’ve purchased shoes from here numerous times - but it’s always pot luck of finding something to suit. Otherwise you’d get much more of my business. I’m an ultra runner and chew through numerous shoes each year.
Better selection and stock levels, if you please!
