Mr. Barak (solicitor and previous owner of Saffron) has operated under restricted license since 2021, having been fined by the Solicitor's Regulatory Authority: (i) Mr. Barak failed to ensure that client information was kept confidential when 242 wills plus the names and addresses of over 11,000 clients were removed from the firm and not properly secured. (ii) Mr. Barak failed to ensure that the firm’s dealings with client money were appropriately recorded and complaint account reconciliations were undertaken.
Mr. Barak has a manner and tone which does not align with the expectations of a legal professional; and has a patronising approach with women. I would recommend any client to check qualifications and expertise within this practice carefully before instructing.

I hired one of the attorneys in this group 2 years ago to help me with an accident where I was hit by a tractor trailer while stopped on and off ramp with cars in front of and in back of me. I thought that I could trust them because they assured me I could after speaking with them multiple times. Yesterday, when my 2-year mark on reporting and suing is about to expire, I get an email from them telling me that they will not be able to work on my case anymore. So not only did they bail out, but they gave me no time to refile with another law office. I have been in multiple car accidents over my life, none of which were my doing, and I have never come across such an incompetent, unprofessional firm such as this. I highly suggest you go elsewhere or you could possibly be in my shoes. I'm totally flabbergasted by this whole thing.

this is a great firm where you need to deal with commercial properties. i have been dealing with them for nearly two years and they always have been very responsive and quick & efficient to act. very friendly and supportive staff all the way long. I`d defiantly recommend them.

This review reflects my personal opinion/experience about this firm.

"You pay for peanuts, you get monkeys..." as the saying goes. You will get this in the name of Altaf Kara. Poor service clowning around, pretending to understand law.

Illegal practices such as, requesting to meet in a pub to sign ILA legal papers, failing to request ID, and further requesting cash only payment...

...No professionalism, no class, and more importantly - ILLEGAL.

On a different matter, how 43 year old Mustafa Barak (owner) was admitted as a solicitor, is just wrong in my view. Feel free to check him out and judge for yourself.
