DIY: CLEAN IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH SPOTS WITHOUT SCRUBBING
DIY CLEAN WITHOUT SCRUBBING. We use Safrax all over the house...like cleaning the filter basket and exhaust lines of the dishwasher, front-load washing machine gasket and the exhaust drain, another hot tip: we put dirty kitchen sponges in a mason jar with 3/4 in. water and 3 chlorine dioxide tablets, tighten the lid, place in a dark cabinet for 8 hours...BAM sponges are again like new! By mistake we left dirty standing water in a plastic lined dishwasher and ended up with a layer of mold throughout the machine, black nasty mold and a stench filled the kitchen, Safrax to the rescue, there was even mold all over the racks - super gross..but we tossed maybe 6 CD tablets in the bottom of the machine and ran a cycle. When we opened the door the interior was simply spotless inside. And no smell either. I am sold on this chlorine dioxide product. Especially useful for tight, hard to reach tubing, gaskets, hairbrushes, cleaning supplies, et al. Just toss them into the sink drains (so they fall into the trap) and then plug/close the drain opening (I place a small bowl upside down over drain hole to keep vapor trapped in the drain).
