My experience with Samsara has been nothing short of exhausting. I first heard from them back in 2019, and from that very first email I made it clear that I was not interested in their dash cams. Over the years I have told them multiple times to stop contacting me, yet the calls and emails kept coming. I have lost count of how many times I have had to block phone numbers and mark their emails as spam just to get some peace.
What stands out the most is that Samsara simply does not respect people’s requests to be left alone. Even after more than six years they continue to reach out, ignoring the fact that I could not be more clear about my lack of interest. That is not how a professional company should operate, and it says a lot about their business practices.
I would never consider doing business with a company that treats potential customers this way. At this point, even if their products were free, I would not accept them. If you value your time and want to avoid constant unwanted contact, I strongly suggest staying away from Samsara.

What a bunch of liars. Prices keep going up. We negotiate a slightly better price. We renewed 2 trucks at agreed upon price. We had 6 more trucks to renew 45 days later. Told price would be the same. Renewal day comes; price is higher. Our service is suspended because we want the price we were quoted. No body can get on the phone and fix this. The person "That Can" doesn't have a phone??? are you freaking kidding me?? STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. We also took a truck out of service last year. Wore out,we decided not to replace it. They refused to prorate usage on a truck no longer in service. we paid a whole year for a truck sitting with a blown motor.

Don't believe the customer support sales pitch. If something fails with the product, in our case, one of the mounts, they will do nothing and tell you to buy a replacement. We have had these cameras for 6 months. If this is how it is, it is going to be a long 2.5 years to finish this contract.

This company is awful, I would give Zero Stars if possible. Be aware of their auto-renew policies. We have been in communication with multiple members of the Samsara team
for over FIVE months regarding our account. Despite our repeated outreach, we
have not received a resolution. We were involuntarily placed into an autorenewing
contract at the end of our original three-year term — a contract we
did not authorize and have made clear we do not accept.
Following the contract’s expiration, we specifically requested to speak with
someone about adjusting or canceling our plan, as the auto-renewed pricing is
not financially feasible for our organization. Our efforts to obtain assistance
have led to endless referrals between team members, numerous unreturned
phone calls, and no meaningful progress.

The product works as advertized although they dropped many of our favorite feature with no reduction in price. My issue was that I was locked in for three years and at the end of that they auto-renewed me for another charging my credit card over $3k. I could not have canceled my account the day before. The day they charged my account I said I did not want to renew and they said too bad. I have fought with their customer service for a week now and made no progress.

Quite honestly it's the best road traffic safety tool we have. We use the internal and external facing cameras and the technology used to monitor and manage driving habits are second to none. We monitor speeding, harsh driving, distracted driving, phone use, seat belt use, drowsy driving and so much more. We have saved over £100,000 per year through monitoring and managing our idle times throughout the year. Easy to use, great camera detail and a dashboard full of great tools and scoring systems

Very disappointed with the after-sales service I've received. While I'm satisfied with the quality of the tracker and dashcam system, and appreciate the user-friendly dashboard, I've found the after-sales support to be cumbersome and time-consuming when I've encountered issues and/or have any queries.

Charged 36 months in advance and when device was stolen, was told there would be no prorated refund. Instead, they would also charge an addiitonal "early termination fee" in order to add insult to injury. With business partners like this, who needs enemies?

The product and service is fine. Billing practices are horrible. Billed about $7,000 too much on CC. Samsara says it will take 15 weeks to rectify. Claims to have major issues with billing and it will take time to resolve. So far it has been about 8 weeks. Not sure if this true or just deceptive practices. Either case it is not good.

DO NOT USE! Would strongly recommend against using Samsara. We purchased the subscription in 2021 a 36 month agreement then year to year after. We found that the software didn't do some features we were led to believe it did so it didn't work for our application. We have been trying to cancel the subscription for 2 years now and have received little response from them only to state that we can't cancel service and we are locked in unto 2027 however when asked to provide information that shows that noone could be. I have reviewed the signed contract and it clearly states its annually renewed after and only requires a 30-day written notice to cancel which we have fulfilled many times over in the past two years of trying to cancel yet they keep ignoring our requests and charging us. Incredibly shady business practice with a huge lack of professionalism. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

I have found Samsara very good to deal with , from first contact with Callum, the teams meetings and the follow up to see how and if we are getting the most from the product very professional. The product itself is a game changer for us in regards to safe guarding our drivers and driver training. Would recommend anyone to try there systems.

An email was sent two weeks ago to the Sales Rep who convinced us this was the right system to use and we still haven't heard back from them! You can't get to speak to anyone its all emails which isn't helpful when you have problems with the units! I'm not sure I would renew when the contract ends.
