Samsung TV Plus is garbage

Samsung TV Plus is garbage. Supposedly commercial free, it has more commercials than legacy tv. There is no way to pause/ fast forward/ rewind. Worst of all, Samsung Plus not only accepts the lunatic transgender concept, it promotes that insanity, in flamboyant style. It is TOTALLY inappropriate for minors (ANYONE under the age of 18). There is blatant sexual pornography even in the commercials. And there is no way to stop that garbage being displayed. No one of a normal upbringing can escape this blatant grooming. Seek other source of entertainment that has traditional and moral value.

Never Buying Samsung Again

I have Samsung TV Plus disabled in the settings and it still shows up automatically. It will start when I turn on my TV and there’s no “exit” option in the interface. I have to hold the “back” button on the remote to get out of the app and sometimes this causes the TV to crash. I’m happy with the picture quality but everything else about the TV like the Settings, the Smart TV (I.e., interface functionality and stability etc.) is horrible. This is my third Samsung TV. It used to be a good brand but I won’t buy Samsung again.

Inappropriate ads on family tv

I love the Heartland channel because I am not into language and sexual content. The constant commercials for apps is annoying, but I know that is what pays the bills. I am disappointed and upset that the commercials during a family friendly show very skimpy dressed women and you have to bleep out the F**** bombs out of an ad for a solitaire app. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing that I can't watch with my young boys.

More ads than actual content

More ads than actual content. Annoying as loops, particularly on the VEVO channels, plays about 5 minutes or content then 10 minutes of a repetitive loop of the same music saying "we'll be back shortly" and so on.

Absolute garbage.

Intrusive interface design

Samsung has no interest in providing a good customer experience, only in forcing you to use their streaming platform. While watching a show, there is a frequent pop up in the middle of the screen letting you know that you can use the remote arrows to make other selections. No duh. Its a remote. Why would I want to watch your content if you keep interrupting? And no matter how many times I set the junk stations not to show up, new crappy stations keep showing up. And occasionally they completely reset the shows so all of them show up, and I have go through all of them again to turn most of them off. Just today, they forced a new interface, which overlays whatever you are watching with a format like you would see on fire or apple tv, but you cant get rid of it to watch the channel you are on except by waiting a while for it to go away. Terrible choices are being made by the team responsible for this service.

And the picture is a mess
Black shadows and getting really hot
After speaking to Samsung answering stupid questions for half an hour
She put me onto a technician through e-mailing
We sent 2 videos to them of the tv
The only reply we got back was this email service no longer exist

SET UP Charge is a “RIP OFF” TV great!

No complaint with new led tv its great, however Samsung charged us £19+ to SET UP the tv, Their interpretation of SET UP is to take the TV out of the packaging fit 4 screws to the base & plug the socket in the wall.
My & other people’s interpretation of “SET UP” is to TUNE IN the TV set up the sound bar etc. It took 2 hours for me to tune & set the tv up. Wish I could charge £19.5 for 15 minutes work

Samsung tv plus big negative!!

I have always gotten regular 50 or 55 inch flat-screen tvs and just used my firestick for web use, I finally got my first smartTV in 2020, I got a samsung I buy only samsung for all my electronics.. my beef is "samsung tv plus" why do they call it that it just Pluto TV!!? When you turn to a channel the banner of information tells you the tv shows/movie name and what showing is something else! I get you gotta show commercials but the same 2 commercials over and over??!! This will be the last time I buy a smart dumb tv!!
