Look - you need to be realistic. They sell Chelsea boots for £49.00 in leather with a Goodyear welted sole. However, a repair will cost more than boot so not worth it. The leather is cheap and cracks after a year, but hey, for £49 they only need to last a year, so excellent value. Had 3 pairs all delivered promptly. Normal shoes from them aren’t so great. Otherwise great value for money

Every single pair of shoes I have bought recently from Samuel Windsor has developed a 'squeak' in one or both shoes. I now have 7 pairs of squeaky shoes all from the same company - no other shoe maker has developed this problem so it must be down to faulty workmanship. It certainly isn't a marketing device.

I’m sure many others were dubious of these shoes as I was before I ordered them. How can they sell a pair of handmade, Italian calf leather, Goodyear welted shoes for so cheap?

I purchased the Brunel Oxfords and I’m totally blown away by how good they are. I can’t believe shoes this good are available for £60. For £50 you would get a fake leather glued sole pair from Next that look cheap. These look and feel like a pair of Crockett & Jones for a tenth of the price. I’m absolutely over the moon with them and will definitely be ordering more.

I ordered a pair of shoes, got the been dispatched to royal mail email, more than a week later got an email saying you have been refunded, no explanation, apology, nothing, wait up to ten days for refund but still charging me 5 pound delivery, so no shoes and 5 pound out of pocket and still waiting for refund. I emailed them and got no reply, do not use, disgusting service all round, 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Ordered a pair of size 6 deck shoes, they sent size 5, I returned the shoes requesting an exchange to a size 6, they sent a refund. Now, I've no shoes and left to poy 2 lots of postage....talk about a scam. Also signed for a subscription on the understanding there would be a discount on the purchase, no such discount was applied.

I've bought 7 pairs of shoes from Samuel Windsor... so I clearly think they're good. The value is excellent and the build quality is good. When I had an issue with a sole splitting after a few weeks I sent them an email with photos and they immediately sent me a brand new pair. That's superb customer service.

I bought a pair of dress shoes for a wedding. Customer services sent them out very quickly for no extra charge. Very nice shoes am extremely happy with my purchase.

Have ordered various pairs of shoes all good quality and then they are posted.

My query and what prevents them getting 5 star is that they go to the Black Hole which is the Royal Mail. It is clear that Royal Mail is a dreadful company and needs to give up. I presume Royal Mail is cheap but certainly not cheerful. Would it be best I ask for my money back and try someone. who does not use the Royal Mail?

The dress shoes looked nice but were too tight. My son who’s a slim boy couldn't fit his feet in them, so I had to return the shoes. Although the company offered a free return label, I ended up losing £5.99 for shipping, leading to a deduction of 2 stars in my rating.

Dissapointed on my delivery cost and return.
£5.99 to deliver and £12.99 to return a pair of £45 shoes that didn't suit me.

I'll start with the positives.
The delivery shoes was notably prompt, arriving a day ahead of the anticipated delivery date. Upon initial examination, the shoes appeared aesthetically pleasing. It should be noted that the shoes do to run slightly large, although this sizing issue did not personally affect me.

However, upon closer inspection, I observed several scuff marks. Although initially disheartened, I believed these marks could be remedied as they did not appear to be deeply ingrained. After a gentle rub down with a clean cloth and a buff with a horsehair brush, I observed that the finish that Samuel Windsor had used, which provided the shoes with their shine, began to deteriorate. This resulted in a blotchy, greyish appearance.

Given that I have an upcoming wedding in a few days, I find this situation unsatisfactory and disappointing.

I have now purchased two pairs of loafers from this company and found both the quality and customer service excellent. I would have expected to pay considerably more for the quality and fit and I was also pleased with the fact they sell half sizes.

Customer service was great. I needed my shoes earlier for an interview and after contacting them they changed the shipping to next day which came just in time for the interview free of charge. The shoes are absolutely amazing quality especially for the price and the fact that they are hand made is just an even bigger. Will be buying more from them again. Thanks

Great quality shoes, delivered on time. When I opened the shoe box, I was pleasantly surprised by the deep red colour of the glossy shoes.

I can’t say I’m impressed and wouldn’t order from here again.

The negatives are they come up to big, I hate online shopping so went to several different shoe shops to make sure I ordered the correct size, I am a size 9.5 however these shoes were bigger a lot bigger, in the shops I went to their size 10 shoes were smaller. Now this wouldn’t be an issue if I didn’t lose the original postage and also the postage for returning them. I’m now £12 down and still no shoes. I have now ordered from London brogues which do free post and free returns.

Had a dinner I had to go to and didn’t have any black shoes. I sorted it out with customer service and they changed the delivery time with no charge and look to get them tomorrow hopefully. I thought ordering on the site was quick and easy.

I purchased a pair of shoes from them, about 3 or 4 weeks in one started to squeak, I thought it was just as it was breaking in but it continued. Having read other reviews I was concerned about trying to get in contact to sort it out.
I emailed them thinking they wouldn't do anything as it was over 6 weeks after i ordered them. But they replied to the email within 10 minutes and agreed they were faulty and send a replacement pair out to me the same day.
