Was here a few months ago had a great experience, the tech is amazing and the staff are so helpful we did or session with Lennon he couldn't of done anymore for us as we where new to VR GV gaming , he was very patient and helpful, would highly recommend a visit as you won't get anything like it anywhere else in Dublin

I can't really understand all the good comments. We were there with 6 friends. The shop is beautifully designed and the employees were super friendly. My expectations were perhaps a little different to many others, as I have VR glasses at home myself and therefore know the options, the range of games and the pros and cons. If a company only offers a service, i.e. a VR experience, then I expected the games and the equipment to be of the highest standard. The image quality of the VR glasses was very disappointing for me. There are some entry-level VR glasses with better quality. The graphics of the games were extremely below average. What was worse was that the game kept jerking a lot for us (all of us) and the glasses stopped working when we rotated. The game itself (Amber Sky 2088) wasn't particularly good either and quickly got boring. You start on a platform similar to an elevator and ride it higher and higher towards space. Aliens keep appearing and you have to shoot them down. This quickly became tedious and boring, as there was no variety. What was even more annoying was that a lot of the 40 minutes of gameplay were just "film sequences" and the actual active playing time was very short.

For someone who has never tried VR before, this might be a great introductory experience, but for "VR experts" it's more of a disappointment.

We had a great time! We were running late due to delayed trains, and the staff could not have been more helpful and flexible. They made sure we had a great evening: they were so friendly. It was good fun. The robot drinks bar was not working properly - so they could improve that! But overall - highly recommended.

We were made to feel welcome. We didn't have to wait long. The all experience was absolutely fantastic.

Amazing experience ! We did the squid game and it was really good and competitive !

We then played deadwood valley and that was awesome zombie shooter !

The experience felt real!

Would highly recommend !

You even get a free video emailed to you with the experience and the scores !

Overall the experience was fun, wouldn't do it again, servers shut down twice. Much prefer Otherworld.
Service was terrible, seems like they've hired kids that want a job but won't work. Took 15 minutes to get shown a video at the end, the girl ended up walking out.
Service was terrible.
Won't be coming back
