Warning!!

I left this same review on TripAdvisor: “The reason we lowered our rating to “poor” is bc the owner of our original Beachside Villa rental entered the unit, while we were asleep, to “drop off” hats (see pics). The facility manager Virginia Carvajal confirmed it was the owner and moved us to another upgraded Villa (w/internal hotel style door lock) and compensated us $187, which was 70% off one night stay. Lesson learned is that unit owners have codes, pick a unit that has an internal hotel style lock!” I added more feedback to their internal review: Can you really trust all your owners? That owner could have easily robbed us, or worse committed murder. Maybe after an internal review the facility needs to protect its renters and consider adding internal hotel style door locks, so another guest never experiences our issue again. Virginia handled it very professionally said this never happened before, but really can Sandestin resort afford another mishap like this?
