Nice idea, useful to have it at eye level on the dash or screen. This is not a stand alone unit, the app runs on your phone and this is an extension... No phone / app then this does not work.
A friend has the mini which works well, I decided to go for the pro, an extra £10 with a years subscription of £2.99 pm. BEWARE, if you cancel the sub the unit no longer functions, it's not even downgraded - so basically an extra speedo.
I like that's its good a good clear screen that's easy to see. Two buttons to add cameras or other alerts. Curent speed is shown, plus speed limit and a warning if the limit is about to change.
What I dont like is the app is hard to fully close, always wants to run in the background even when at home. The accuracy of the information can be VERY POOR, I have many cameras I am being alerted to that have gone months or years ago. Contacted Saphe but a pleasant, but standard reply is the devs are working on it. Its particularly frustrating being told that I am in a temporary speed restriction on a motorway for many miles, when thats gone.
Also, the option to say a camera is no longer present is only rarely shown.
I am cancelling the sub, shame I now have a useless gadget, without a sub it should be downgraded and not blocked.
I use Waze in conjunction, which is far more accurate, wish they had a device like this.

you want me to pay for a subscription and then to help you build a database of cameras and hazards to identify etc so basically doing your job for you .. next to your so called device is absolutely rubbish and end of
Google maps free
Waze free
and the best one i would recommend is OOONO absolutely brilliant used in conjunction with any of the above and you will not go wrong

Just a gimmick that doesn’t work most of the time. Misses most of the 20 mph roads in South London and also misses about 75% of the speed cameras. At end of the year, I will not be renewing and will be moving on. Would I recommend to a friend, No I would not.

Purchased the Saphe Pro and it worked well untill the latest Android upgrade, now it will not connect to the phone. 2 weeks later still no software upgrade, not impressed.

The app forces you to share data about your location all the time even when it is switched off. There is no reason for that except for gathering data on users which might be monetized later on somehow. So I havwe returned the product and deleted the app. Then I have downloaded Waze for free which I use without an account and I can switch on and off when i want and do not feed into it data when not needed. Waze shows also mobile cameras and costs zero.

Display unit crashes every 30min or so. Looses connection, whatsoever. Unreliable at all...
