Sarkinen Plumbing Reviews 

Upon seeing the poor reviews, I'm embarrassed that we hired them at all. Positives: All technicians were very friendly and I think they wanted to be helpful. The actual plumbing problem was fixed quickly and efficiently. Negatives: The job took three-times as long as estimated. Sarkinen Plumbing, HVAC, and restoration teams were all involved and blamed each other for issues and did not communicate with each other. I had to call multiple times to see if someone was coming out. They tried to upsell me in a very manipulative way. I am being charged monthly for a membership that I thought was a one-time charge (they claim I was told, but I wasn't and I have the contract that does not say anything about a monthly charge). They also did not complete part of the job until my husband went into the crawlspace and saw it wasn't done and we called... again. Upon my complaints, they marked down my bill by about 3% I believe. I just called about the monthly charges and they refuse to take responsibility, which would have been a write-off for them of about $45. That was icing on the cake. I hate writing poor reviews, but after the ordeal of the repair and then them not writing off $45... Here we are.

DO NOT STAND BY WORK. NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!!

Received our water bill and noticed a large increase. Meter at the curb indicated a water leak. My husband checked under the house and everything was good. Sarkinen came out to find the leak from curb to house. They stated thwre was a leak. After 3 1/2 hours of searching, the plumber mapped and marked the area of leak. Gave a quote and left. My husband dug the area to the pipe under ground and there was absolutely no leak. My husband called and explained there was no leak in the area the plumber mapped. They informed us they could come back out at $200 each hour to find the leak. The cost was already $700 for NOTHING!!

We requested a call back from someone and was told management would return our call. 2 weeks and still no call back.
Horrible, unprofessional, not trustworthy. Not a true craftsman who stands by their work.

We ended up digging our line and found the leak close to the house. Over 20 feet from the mapped area where the plumber stated the leak was. What a waste of money and time.
Would never recommend this company.

We called to get an estimate on fixing a leaking bathtub valve, wanted to replace the whole unit, they said they did free estimate and setup a time for the next morning at 9am, Ciro Called at 8am and said he was about 45 mins out and asked if I was ok with him being a little early, I was up so no biggie, he showed up at 9:15am introduced himself and I walked him to our bathroom, he took a glance and said we would have to switch to one valve that they are gettin g away from 2 valve systems and he said is would cost $1250.00 for the whole replacement.
Of course I needed to talk with wife about which estimate she and I should go with So I told him well let me get with my wife and we will call you later to schedule a time to get it done, he instantly got defensive as though I just wasted all his time, he was very snide with his exit as he informed me that since they had been out here once before that if I called them again for anything they would bill me $250 for any trips out here..lol are you kidding me, he thinks they are the only plumbing business in the state I guess, thankfully we choose another company that served us very well, although Sarkinen was about $50.00 cheaper we got more respect from a smaller company that has great customer service, buyer beware our first and last dealing with this company this for sure.

My experience with this plumbing company was infuriating. They pressured me into unnecessary purchases, refused to refund my money, and hung up on me when I tried to address the issue. Initially, they admitted they couldn't guarantee a permanent fix for my hot water problem but insisted on replacing my boiler, promising a warranty. They convinced me to buy a $1500 booster, claiming it would provide constant hot water. In the end, I paid around $4000. To make matters worse, the new boiler didn't deliver as promised, and when I sought help, they said the booster was pointless. When I asked for a refund, they denied it and wouldn't even reimburse the $1000+ installation fee. Waiting three hours for hot water was the final straw. This company's pushy tactics, refusal to refund, and terrible customer service are absolutely unacceptable. Stay away from them!

I called to request an estimate on replacing my 30-year-old hot water heater. Dylan arrived within the prescribed time but did not project a sense of customer service or professionalism. He got very offensive about me wanting to see some sort of company ID. He was not knowledgeable concerning the latest tier requirements for hot water heaters and was mildly disrespectful, to say the least. If this is the way they treat their customers, I will not recommend their services to anyone. I know customer service and this was not it.
