SARSON'S TERRIBLE ENVIRONMENTAL &…

SARSON'S TERRIBLE ENVIRONMENTAL & CUSTOMER SERVICE.
So it's no longer possible to top up the Sarson's
vinegar shaker bottle. Previously you could take the top off and top up with Sarson's vinegar from their larger [non-shaker] bottle.
How does this fit with environmental priorities, sending the glass bottles to recycle rather than reuse.
Their website cites the 3 Rs [Reuse, Refill, Recycle] but clearly this is in name only.

I wrote to Sarson's and they sent me an automated response to say I would get a reply and when the reply came in later it just referred me back to their website. They couldn't even be bothered to defend their indefensible position.
I will NOT be buying any Sarson's products again in the future after a lifetime of using them.
They've been taken over by a Japanese company and obviously not bothered any more. Take my advice and get a supermarket own brand - Sarson's - it's not worth it.

PUTTING PROFIT BEFORE...saving the environment!

I'm super disappointed to discover that the Sarsons Vinegar bottles have become impossible to refill??
:(
How environmentally friendly of them - NOT!
Shame on you for being so greedy!!
I've used your vinegar my entire life. I'm 59 now..
You've lost this once faithful customer on the grounds of reducing plastic waste worldwide over your own need for profit!!
I'm a business owner myself & hand on heart all of my products are Vegan, organic & creature friendly & I'm self employed & struggling like most of us are nowadays.
I need the money more than you, yet I choose to put the environment before my own needs.
It all tastes the same anyways!

Sarsons - pure greed.

For over 50 years I've used Sarsons vinegar, the shape of their vinegar bottle has become somewhat iconic and instantly recognisable.
The bottles were easily and cheaply refillable, unfortunately sarsons have now decided that they don't want them to be refilled, just so they can screw a few more pennies out of their customers.
Well done guys, you've just added thousands of tons of glass to landfill sites all over the UK. Even those bottles that make it into the bottle bank will still use up valuable energy resources to recycle.
All for the sake of a small increase in profits. Greedy gits.
I'll not buy your products again.
