UTTER GARBAGE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

SBS On Demand - What an abysmal waste of time. Almost impossible to navigate, understand, sign in or watch a movie! So complicted to use - its nothing more than an insult to any persons intelligence! What ever happened to the SBS of old?
Another shining example of the results of the implementation of AI B--L S--T!

I managed watching 8 adds before the movie started and had to exit

I haven't watched SBS for several months due to the high add content. I went in today to watch a movie however I did not get to the movie 8 (EIGHT) adds in a row and I left the streaming app. Why do these companies have to be so greedy, why can't they learn that moderation brings more viewers. I can't understand how SBS and other streaming companies are allowed to get away with this. We pay for devices and internet so it is not so free. Really poorly done SBS.

Too hard to sign in to

Too hard to sign in to, I know I have an account but suddenly my Gmail address is not good enough. I cannot be bothered trying to navigate the reason why my simple email address is no longer acceptable. I'll move on to a much easier channel. Bye sbs

SBS's sad coverage of the Iran situation

SBS's, so-called, lead international reporter, Ben Lewis's coverage of what's happening in Iran, today, is almost - but not quite, as unbelievably bad, as his coverage of the previous US election, which led to what happened today, incidentally.
Is he just a paid-up member of all the left-leaning unions, and political parties, in Australia? Or does anyone actually think that him supporting the old Iranian regime, is a fair position for an independent international journalist to take in today's world?
Thousands of Christians - including many women, who just didn't believe they had to hide their hair, have been killed in this extremist regime. And thousands of new Australians - like me, know that's the sad reality of the world we live in today. How can he not know that?
I will never watch SBS news again - until he's removed.
ABC's equivalent reporter, Matt Doran, is the guy who is actually covering what's happening in that region with empathy, and with the facts.
So disappointing.

What have they done!

What have they done!
SBS was the best thing on television a few years back!
Ap is so glitchy. But the intrusive ads seem to work fine when you're trying to fast forward or reverse!
And double dipping with ads and funding!
Obviously no one who works at SBS uses the ap!
Disgusting!

The most frustrating app/programme i…

The most frustrating app/programme i have had. Rewinding dosen’t get you to a place it was on. This app has not moved with the times even though they receive in money from our taxes. I have been with SBS from their first programme and on the journey with them with-out any ads. Now too many interruptions with adverts. SBS will become irrelevant. Too many interruptions in a program with ads.

SBS has totally lost the plot

SBS has totally lost the plot.
1. endless ads at very intrusive moments, and that is not what is in the legislation.
2. why is SBS allowed to double-dip with public funding and ads when no other channel can?
3. very intrusive/restrictive streaming limitations, which include falsely "detecting" ad blockers and VPNs. SBS has no right to demand Australians turn off the VPNs that keep them safer online.
4. meaningless EPG titles. The Australian road national cycling championships were the Westbridge Funds Nats Championships... cycling anybody? This is not isolated its a constant.
3 or 4 years ago SBS was my go to, but now its gone. But as a taxpayer I'm still funding this inaccessible rubbish! Come on Government, sort it out.

My god what a convoluted app

My god what a convoluted app. I have to constantly have to sign in again, difficult to navigate. Try to go back a bit to what you are watching as missed something and the nightmare begins. I have a smart TV and every other app is great. Even the ABC. I remember when SBS first came out and no adverts. What are they doing with their money? Would be interesting to see who gets paid what! SBS can hopefully do better. That is all I have and that’s hope. Date of experience? Every day.

Stopped watching SBS about 1 yr ago

Stopped watching SBS about 1 yr ago. Just cant find anything worthwhile to watch on that platform anymore. 3 to 4 years ago it was the opposite for me SBS was my go to streamer. I watched them all the time. Today very rarely. SBS content nowadays is just the same woke production cookie cutter template show after show series after series. zzzzzzzzzzzz

Good coverage of world events

Good coverage of world events. They have many excellent news readers but Janice Peterson is not one of them. She's perhaps dyslexic.
Or maybe needs new contact lenses?
It's frustrating because when the other presenters are on it is so much better.

I think SBS are too dumb to actually…

I think SBS are too dumb to actually switch a TV on and watch the absolutely dismal quality of there broadcasting. As an example today's round of the Australian Superbike Series from the Bend Motorsport Park that's that bad it's almost unwatchable. It's every weekend with these clowns! To think that SBS get government grants to broadcast this shit is a national tragedy.
