Dreadful products. Spent a small fortune on a battery backup that lasted seconds when the power went off. They did everything they could to reject a replacement. Even asked me for the wattage of the mouse. How the heck does anyone know that. £700 wasted. Am furious.

Schneider Electric has been very reactive and helpful with a technical problem on a battery (UPS unit). They diagnosed the problem very fast and sent me a replacement battery in less than a week. Marius provided an excellent support, I would definitelly buy again.

I first came across this problem several years ago before Schneider acquired a company called G.E.T.
One of my customers likes their electronic dimmers, they are good as you can dim the lights from multiple positions using a retractive switch, no problem there.
However my customer also likes the toggle switches as opposed to a rocker switch, here lies the problem, for some bizarre reason Schneider and previously G.E.T don't make a retractive toggle switch, which is complete madness, I have even tried to get compatible switches made but nobody will make them. Schneider as you would expect are no use, we don't make them, end of discussion, my only option now is to see if I can pull a standard switch apart and swap the internals using a toggle switch or use standard toggle switches, and they will have to flick the switch on quick, which is what he did previously in his old house.
I can't be the only person that's had this problem, and this first happened about 14 years ago, so be careful if you like toggle switches and want to dim your lights.

I used to work for this company, and they literally don't give a monkeys about their employees.
If your thinking of joining this company for work, then my advice is "DONT" , their are far far better companies to work for .

hopeless support to their products that don't work. We got 2 LED switches with dimmers but they can't even turn off the light.

This company has been a pleasure to deal with. Courteous, efficient, helpful and fair. No hesitation in dealing with them in the future.

Bought this from Wickes and absolutely useless. The detector was telling me the wall was full of cables when I knew there were none and more worryingly when there were cables on occasions no detection was forthcoming. Absolute credit to Wickes who gave me a full refund

Schneider eased my worries within hours. I had some fears about an installation that a local electrician had installed in my property, maybe because of a language difficulty.
Anyway Schneider Thailand responded within a couple of hours of my e-mail receipt and was able to remove my fears.
This might seem to be what is normally accepted business practice but not so much in Thailand where companies have contact details in English but rarely reply to any mails.

I bought a DM25 multimeter from Wickes. It was packaged in tough plastic, so I had to use scissors to get it open. There was nothing on the packaging to warn the customer that the user manual was hidden inside the card label. Through no fault of my own I cut right through the instructions. I requested a copy from Wickes who advised the multimeter was supplied by GET plc, which is now part of Schneider Electric. I have requested a replacement user manual by answerphone message, and by e-mails. I never received a replacement, nor did I get any acknowledgement of my request. So this company gets a big thumbs down for bad packaging and ignorant customer service.
