While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Bought a second hand Peugeot Django…

Bought a second hand Peugeot Django (2020) 50 cc at the price of 1000€ from Scootermotive. The dealer claims that it has been ridden 8200 km, but due to the broken button of the dashboard, it can only showed trip mileage instead of total.

After one month usage, I ride to the local scooter shop due to the leakage of front shock absorber and would like to have a full inspection. The guys says that the scooter at least been ridden 30000 km. And complete inspection, maintenance and repair would cost between 500€ and 700€.

Then I went to another local shop for a second opinion. The guys says that the scooter has been ridden around 20000 km due to tire and seat wear. And total maintenance fee would also cost more than 500€.

I wish I could go back a month and give myself a slap in the face for trusting others so easily.
