Zero stars review. ACAS uses this charity for research.

Zero stars review. ACAS uses this research charity. Gave the charity my contact information without my authorisation that's a breach of all data protection legislation since 1998. Folake Shobola contacted me via email part of the team. I've now discovered that the charity and the call centre for Acas is based in Scotland however there are different countries part of UK. I live in England. Both countries have different laws. Especially as the email received from Folake Shobola didn't use any part of my name that's discrimination not only that good morning when I had already but a complaint in about this.

i'm wanting to reply to a reviewer

i'm wanting to reply to a reviewer - just seen ..from January 2020
Stuart being angry at being contacted about a survey ..
tho he seems quite keen to air his opinions on here .
addresses are never 'sold' , people are randomly picked to represent thousands of others in some cases. everything is bona fide, and completely confidential .
many OAPs complain that no one wants to listen to them .
these surveys give them the opportunity to a) have their say b) speak for many others who don't get that chance. c) not to need to say 'well no one asked me ' .... Don't say you weren't asked! you miserable cantankerous old ... person!

I today received letter from ScotCen…

I today received letter from ScotCen informing me that without my permission I would be getting a visit from an interviewer from ScotCen Social Research and unless i phoned 0800 652 2704 to say I did not want to take part they would send someone to interview me.
I phoned ScotCen to say I did not want anyone calling at my address and was told that Royal Mail was the source of my details and their database was public and as they could not find my details on the ScotCen computer they would try to stop one of their interviewers attending my address but could not be certain.
I am furious that RoyalMail presumably sold them my details and also that ScotCen feel they have the right to send an interviewer to my address without my permission.
ScotCen claim in their letter to be associated with The Scottish Government, The NHS and The Office for National Stastistics. I have no idea if they are affiliated to these bodies but I do know that as an OAP I don't want people calling at my address uninvited and with no way of me knowing if they are con men.
