Yesterday I managed to leave the road…

Yesterday I managed to leave the road in my car on slippery A71 road , lorry driver was first to stop and giving as much help as he could along with concern , I thank you , next a fireman stopped and gave me his time till the police came , I thank you , the two police officers who arrived showed empathy and understanding to the position I found myself in , helped me greatly and I’d like to thank them again along with their colleague who pulled me out ,
Thanks again to all of the above

Clydebank Police Station!

Clydebank Police Station!
What a disgrace, we just wonder duties are/ Why are you getting a wage at the end of the month?

Went to report a fraud a month ago, wasted my time taking all the details and lied that someone would be in touch on a Monday since it was Friday afternoon.
I am still waiting for that Monday to come and its nearly 2 months. Isnt this a disgrace?

Very professional and helpful advisor

Phoned to report something I was concerned about and the advisor was extremely caring, understanding and helpful. They clarified they were a service advisor and found my report very strange and potentially concerning, so put me on hold to check with an officer.

When they returned, fortunately they clarified that it was a very strange incident and assured me that it will be logged but no investigation is necessary (they then explained clearly why).

They could hear I was upset by the incident so assured me everything was ok and not to worry which I really appreciated.

Very professional lady I spoke to called Keira who I personally think is fantastic at her job!

Thank you 😊

101 cuts off after 8-17 minutes

101 cuts off after 8-17 minutes. Then you try 999 to be told to phone 101.
101 doesn't work so do I just allow people to vandalise my property. Apparently it's not an emergency when bottles are being thrown in your garden whilst you are there.
"Call back when one hits you"
Thank you police Scotland, I will try.

Real people, real difference. Trust won.

As a young man, I was a quiet sceptic of the police -shaped by older folks' prejudices & attitudes. I'm sure events in the London Met have shaken peoples' trust in uniforms. In recent dealings with 4 pairs of bobbies over a neighbour conflict (as alleged & complainant) I have to say that the current officers & 101 staff are true examples of the best of us trying their best for the rest of us. Respect. Hawick. 50y.

Complete waste of time

Complete waste of time, no police in my area, 999 call takes over an hour to respond, then nothing. Its left to you to chase and find information for them.

Totally Disgusting Level of Servce

EXTRACT OF THE LAST OF SEVERAL EMAIL TODAY TO IAIN LIVINSTONE..

Dear Chief Constable,

Today is truly one of the sadist days of my life.

For more than 20 years, I have been beloved of Policing and The Police, seeing them as slightly dim-witted, slightly disorganised, naturally lazy children, who, while never likely to achieve the status of scholar, needed help with joined up thinking.

After today, I see Police UK as a lost cause, which, with the help of a Royal Commission, should be root, branch and personnel restructured.

First impressions …

I’m a visitor here and unfortunately police officers here are just like the ones in East Yorkshire, unfriendly and unapproachable. Sounds small I said good morning and he looked at me and just ignored me. No smile or nothing, if I had a problem I certainly wouldn’t report it to you or ask for help.

Abuse to an English Man

The question is why do Scottish police protect their own. Surely if someone who is suffering from dementia whether English or not should be protected. NOT by Scottish Police. My Father was abused (ask CID) but then failed by the OPG. A police inspector apparently looked after my Dad - what do you think!!

Vulnerable Girl

Wife and I found a young girl in distress in Glasgow City centre just after midnight, her friends had reorred her missing she was inconsolable, too vulnerable to put in a taxi so called the police, they were quickly on the scene and took care of her, without them there was no alternative, they were professional and compassionate, well done! Her family will be very grateful I'm sure, Credit where its due guys, thanks.

I attended Methil police station…

I attended Methil police station levenmouth, and wasn't sure whether I would get a officer that would be understanding, as I just lost my partner, who I view as my wife, even though I don't have a peice of paper to make it legal, as far as I'm concerned she was my wife. I was to make a statement, as there is a investigation into her death, as it was in hospital. I got the most wonderful and understanding wpc, Steph took her time went over everything with me. Police scotland is extremely lucky to have her, she genuinely cares about people and gives her job 100%.

Security Officer

I have worked in security for years. They have never caught anyone i have reported. Not even folk who have assulted me. I hand over the footage and never hear about it again. Even in my personal life you are better dealing with it yourself.

My complaint is about an incident that happened in April 2021. I feel that the police didn’t deal with it fairly and more investigation could have been done. It took them a long time to respond and I only got a visit from them in January 2022. I’d be grateful if they would get in touch to discuss further and communicate with the witnesses I’ve given them.
