Failed theory - money gone

Other places allow a re-sit of the theory examination on another day if you fail. Mike does not. His attitude is that you haven’t bothered to read the course book or used his written demo questions, therefore you forfeit your money and will not get a skippers ticket without paying again. He states he is a business and held the spot based on the booking so he gets paid regardless. So if you fail your theory, $320 is gone in less than 2 hours and your day is over. Mike gets his money but you get nothing. Choose someone else who allows re-sits on another day.

Why do thers offer a free 2nd test day, is it because nobody fails? This is a boating safety course. Effort is needed to pass the tests and make a safer boating community.
