I've used Second Chance Games a few times now. They have a great range of games, many impossible to get in the UK and the delivery time is outstanding. Will use again and again as money allows!

A terrific friendly and helpful team of guys in this family run and quite niche board gaming business. Their Discord channel is active most days and they run a couple of wargaming cons each year in Liverpool (SCGCon) and Coventry (PunchedCon). Their website is about to be given an overhaul, with some of the work already implemented to allow finding games by Manufacturer and game series. Just don't get dragged into a game of Star Wars at one of the gaming cons until 1am with Andy and let him cast you as Darth Vader!

What's not to love? Comprehensive stock, rapid turnaround, well packaged games and an informative Facebook site. Enquiries are always dealt with promptly and the team are very helpful. I have been buying games from SCG for five years with no issues at all. Keep up the good work!

My first time purchasing from SCG. I ordered two games, both of which were extremely hard to get hold of anywhere else (particularly in the UK). In spite of placing my order on a Bank Holiday weekend, the items were packed and shipped with truly amazing speed - excellently packaged, too, I might add. I can't think of any praise I can give this company that would be too high. They are just THAT good. One thing's for sure: I certainly won't hesitate for a microsecond placing further orders with SCG in the future. Thanks, guys! You deserve the credit.

Massive range of games, friendly helpful staff, got items required from stock, in this case counter trays, at an excellent price. Highly recommended.

Brought two games off Second Chance Games. There was a slight delay in having these processed however that was due to unforseen family circumstances there end which was totally understandable and they were very quick and professional when I contacted them to find out what was going on.

Sadly DPD Local was messing around with the package and it was feared I'd have drama with them however even SCG were kind enough to place next day delivery on the package it took 5 days to arrive with me. This was by no means a reflection on SCG.

I would happily use this company again, they are quick to process your orders and are professional in their manner. They have a great range and I'll be sure to buy off them again in the future.

Came across Second Chance Games on Google after searching for a game that seemed to be out of stock everywhere else. Ordered the game on Friday evening and it arrived on Monday via DPD. Impressed by the quick turn around and the follow-up customer service when I discovered that 4 cards were missing in the game! This was definitely a quality control problem by the game manufacturers as everything was shrink wrapped. On informing Second Chance Games they promptly contacted the game supplier in the USA and within a week or so I had the 4 cards posted out to me! Just ordered some 2mm clippers as well which I thought were only available in the USA initially! These guys really seem to understand what gamers are looking for and have a great selection of board games new and old. Will definitely return for more board games in the future and highly recommend using them if you're into wargaming!

I had dismissed Second Chance Games in search engine results as I thought they only sold second hand games. Someone kindly provided a link in a forum when I said I couldn't find a UK copy of something I wanted.
Second Chance had one, so I went to collect it. They are on an industrial estate and you really have to look for the shop location, Unit 80 is not next to 79 or 81, as you might imagine. Once I found it, the staff were really helpful. It's not like a conventional shop, just a load of shelves stacked to the ceiling with all sorts of obscure games. Want a game about the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD, where Constantine exiled Arius and defined what Christianity should be? Yes, they have it. How about a game recovering from brain damage? There's lots of WW2, American Civil War and Napoleonic games, and just about every other period in history you can imagine. Prices are good too and the staff member who kindly let me wander around in amazement was very helpful. I'll be back.

Been using these chaps for years to get hold of new and second hand games, if there’s a war game you’re after they probably have it. Sales are always despatched promptly and arrive well packaged, and they’re always good over messenger (Facebook) or phone for any enquiries which you might have. 5 stars only because I cannot give 6.

I have bought games from scg for over 30 years. Andy and sons have always been friendly, knowledgeable and able to offer games no one else can! They have always given a fantastic service to me and the wider game community. If you can’t find a game elsewhere scg will have it.

They offer reorder on games that get added to P500 lists on many companies and provide the European friendly delivery service for GMT P500 list.
If you are looking for a game, they will look at getting it in stock, for example I have asked them about Legion Games "Captain's Sea" and they are looking at getting it in stock.

Probably one of the best UK suppliers for games made & published overseas, especially for titles by GMT Games, Compass Games, and others. From purchase to delivery, these folks are totally reliable.
