I ordered 2 bottles of bourbon on…

I ordered 2 bottles of bourbon on Friday. Noticed no progress on Monday and sent an email to the support team. I got an immediate response and got the bottles last night at 630pm. Excellent experience. Have ordered before and expect to continue!!!

Terrible First Experience

I placed an order two weeks ago and have not received any confirmation that the order has even shipped at this point when the order email states 3-5 business days until it will ship.

I have sent two separate emails to support and been ignored both times. It looks like they have some interesting things in stock, but I don’t plan on using them again after the poor customer service. Hoping I can at least get someone to give me a refund at this point.

Horrible service ,half a day wasted in frustration

If you are receiving an email from Seelbach’s stating that on this and that day a certain whiskey is going on sale don’t bother waiting for it , you will see the coming soon tab, then you can even leave your email to get notified once it goes for sale and the day before it will disappear and you will not be able to open the page or it will ask you for an access code which only pro members have , and after you will email the support they will reply saying that the bottle will go for sale to general public around noon eastern time, you will spend half a day waiting for it and the page will never open you will never get the email that the bottle is. Is available and you will waste half of your day and will get nothing , after you will contact them again and maybe a day later they will reply saying that the item has sold out yesterday why send email to customers that unable to buy the item because you are selling it only to your pro members , and I have bought a lot of bottles from that place , not to mention that shipping 70% of time takes forever, very frustrating place to do business with even though they are pretty famous ,but their customer support and customer relation can use a change

Hi Paul - yes, unfortunately this release did sell out to our PRO members. PRO members are given 24-hour early access to all releases. I wish we know exactly how fast everything would sell. But, this one surprised us.

I placed an order on Oct 24

I placed an order on Oct 24, 2024 and still have not recieved any correspondence. They are impossible to contact as the links they provide do not work. The Phone number in this link just rings and rings. Definitely would not recommend buying from Seelbachs.

Flawless

ZERO STARS -- SHOP SCAMMERS

Would give zero stars if able. Ordered through Shop. They created a shipping label for UPS but never actually shipped. I emailed them, and they did email back that they don't have the product! So they took my money and created a fake shipping label. Now I have to fight with Shop to try to get my money back because they created a fake label and I don't have the awesome present I ordered for my man's birthday. Avoid this company like the plague!

Not too happy

Not too happy. First I placed my order on December 12th, their ensure by Christmas delivery. Arrived the 26th,I get it, order placed at 4:30 pm so I guess I’ll let that slide. But, both bottles were shipped out together, only one of bottles was in the package. Packing slip also stated both bottles should be in there. I reached out to customer service, got back quickly but they then proceed to tell me that bottle ended up being sold out so that’s why only one was shipped. No communication prior to sending an order!? I look like an idiot telling someone there Christmas gift is on the way and will be arriving. Jerk move Seelbachs! Then on top of it they refund me the bottle and then refund me just the difference in shipping from the one bottle up to two! I ordered cause two was a good deal, one bottle I would not have been willing to pay that much for shipping. All around terrible experience. I don’t think I’ll order again.

Awesome Customer Service

I had ordered a bottle about 2 weeks out from a trip I was going on. It hadn’t shipped after 5 business days so I sent an email trying to find out if it would be here before I left (I live I’ve a state you need to sign for alcohol). They said they were try and get it shipped with the next 2 days. Sure enough to bottle shipped out with overnight shipping. The problem came the next morning when UPS reported my package damaged and the contents discarded. I email Seelbachs and before the end of the day they had another shipping label created and another bottle sent out the next day again with overnight shipping. This one arrived I damaged and several days before I have to leave.

Awful customer service

Their customer service is awful.

All I wanted was an estimated deliver date (EDD) and they would simply say the shipper had the package and to be patient. I was not anxious for the package, I needed to know when it was coming due to a busy schedule.

So I asked Seelbach for the shipper's contact info because the shipper - We Ship Express - also did not provide the EDD and there was no contact information for them. Seelbach would not respond to my email.

There is no phone number for Seelbach, they only use email. I guess that makes it easier to ignore their customers. So it was too bad so sad, UPS and me are both spending unnecessary time because of poor customer service.

Now, UPS is trying to deliver the package but I have prior commitments (hence my need to know the EDD), and am hoping to juggle multiple projects to meet the delivery. Hopefully I either get the package or a full refund, including shipping costs, if this fails.

I completely understand the frustration here. Unfortunately, once a box leaves our warehouse we don't have control over it. We try to provide as much information as possible. We're limited to what the carrier gives us. I wish there were a better system!

I placed an order for 3 items

I placed an order for 3 items, I’ve received 1 and paid for 3, $298. Blake is not responding to my emails regarding this issue. Would not recommend purchasing from Seelbach.
10/9/24 still no ship date or product.
10/22/24 they canceled my remaining items and did not bother to tell me. Shop elsewhere if you want your product.

My 3 bottles arrived today, fast delivery, great packaging, and the 3 I ordered are all distinctly different, and beyond delicious. So grateful I found your establishment!!! Will definitely be ordering more!!!

Absolutely the best customer service…

Absolutely the best customer service ever! Friendly staff and they went to the extra length to get me my package in two days!
This is the 12 item I’ve ordered from them and everything has always been flawless. I would give them 20 stars if available!

Great customer service and selection

I am always cautious when buying higher priced items through the internet. I have purchased more bottles of bourbon than I should from Seelbach's and have been extremely happy with not only the selection, the price and the customer service has been excellent.

My last order had an issue. Seelbach's did not include one item in my order and then it was not available. They worked with me to find a replacement and then shipped it free of charge.

I will keep shopping here via mail order because of there selection and how they dealt with an error.

Amazing support

Have always had a great experience ordering from Seelbach's and never reviewed as most do, until today. I am writing this review not just because of how good they are at what they do, but how well they handle a situation when something goes wrong. I had a problem with shipping and all I had to do was communicate it to support, pretty late mind you, and it was fixed with no more efforts on my part. The quick reply and solution just says a lot about them and their commitment to customer satisfaction.

The BEST customer service, bar none!

I have been a customer of Seelbachs for 5 years. As my journey into this amazing piece of American history continues, my collection has expanded to 800 bottles. Not only have I travelled to many states in hopes of finding that special "unicorn" but additionally, have purchased well over 200 selections from Seelbachs. There are many online sites selling bourbon. There are 2 reasons why I continue and will always purchase from Seelbachs: Selection and Customer Service. For me, bourbon is about everything other than just drinking it. Its the stories behind the beverage. Many, many of my purchases have been based soley on the the brands offered and the information provided. Blake and his team have gone out of their way to give you as much information about the product you are contemplating as a purchase. My knowledge base has expanded greatly just from reading notes on a certain product. And, if my curiosity is so piqued, I will send a follow up question to the Seelbachs staff. Which leads to the primary reason I remain as a dedicated customer..The impeccable customer service. Whether it be challenges with shipping, to include both expediting or holding a shipment to match my needs, Abby and Blake have more than met every expectation. If you have a question, they provide an answer in a very quick manner. I could continue on and on but rather, see for yourself. I firmly believe as a prospective customer, you will need to look no further after giving Seelbachs a try!

Fantastic company

Great place to purchase hard to find and small batch bottles. The customer service is above par. I had an issue with delivery to my state after an order was already placed for shipping and was afraid that I’d have to cancel my order. They were able to hold my order at their distribution warehouse in DC so I could pick it up there. It was a bit of a drive but well worth the trip. They have definitely earned a repeat customer.
