This company in Richmond Virginia is…

This company in Richmond Virginia is the worst by far than most security companies in this area. Lack of professionalism, given that most if not all of management have no clue to the responsibilities of management. Supervisors are too caught up in themselves and not the employees. They use sentiment in posting officers and for the most are disrespectful and rude. This company doesn't have the backing that it needs for a company that stands out and performs to a degree for challenge presented. Too much ignorance and not enough professionalism with knowledge to carry the task placed with them.

If the standard of their drivers and seeing some of the reviews I won't be using this company.
Recently had one of their drivers fail to stop at give way signs on a roundabout almost hitting me no apology he didn't even look seemed to have the attitude of I am bigger than you tough get out of my way.

This company will sell you equipment…

This company will sell you equipment that you don’t need. They were hired to install fire monitoring equipment I never did. However, they charged my card almost $3000 and already billed me for a monitoring system that I don’t have. They lied to my homeowners insurance and almost cost me my policy. This company is fraudulent, and I’m not sure how a place like this stays in business. I’m looking forward to filing a law suit for my refund and being as much public knowledge of their dirty practices.

I employed sentry security to install…

I employed sentry security to install surveillance cameras at my home and business. The installation was fast and efficient. However I was sold the cameras would have 180 degree views but they are only 120 degrees. I was sold that I would be shown how to use the system but I wasn’t. One year later I still haven’t been show how to use the system. I call to get instruction in how to fix my sound. The person at sentry told me they would call me Monday at 10 am. I wasn’t and two weeks later still haven’t received a phone call. There is no service after the sale. I tried to write a review on their website but it wouldn’t let me submit (as a paying customer). I still don’t know how to operate the system and haven’t been called or checked on to see if my system is running properly. I was scheduled to receive two more cameras but declined because of dissatisfaction and no customer service.

Very responsive

Very responsive. I like being able to run all my accessories through one source - Sentry and their app. I have a full in house security system, front door lock, video doorbell, garage doors, thermostat, and water sensor. I highly recommend.

Our in…Safety

Our installer Dan was extremely capable and very patient with all our questions. We really felt like we understood how to best use our system by the time he left.

They get it!

Nice, helpful, respectful of your time via the service window--great customer service by phone to troubleshoot and assist. No nonsense and no BS. What more could you want?

The gentleman from Sentry was indeed a…

The gentleman from Sentry was indeed a gentleman, was prompt, knew what he was doing, and did the work very quickly and very well. He also took the time to show me how to do certain aspects of it myself, should the need arise on a different entry spot in the future. We have depended on Sentry for decades and have neve been disappointed.

Highly recommended

The people we have dealt with have been extremely helpful and friendly. Customer service has been patient and kind as we learned the system, asked tons of questions and initiated standards to insure easy, yet safe, access to our building for guests, staff and volunteers. Service has been consistent in following up on issues and doing whatever they can to address them and helping us to understand the significance of issues. They know what they're doing and are good at doing it!

Needs improvement

We've been using Sentry for several years and it's apparent that they need to improve upon their product knowledge as well as add more project managers. The constant follow up is an added source of friction. The people are nice but overall there is a lot of room for improvement.
