SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

If there was a zero star I would give it.

I had been with this company for over 17 years. I do not know what has happened. They do not seem to be a company with any morals or ethical principles anymore.

I have not been running my business for a couple of years and as a result of this I have not been using their hosting services. What these people have done during this time is that they have deleted £1,200 worth of a website from my account. They could have locked in my files and prevented me from using their hosting services. They have decided to delete £1,200 worth of my property from my account.

To make things worse they have conned me into paying £240. Their fees have inflated exponentially over the last couple of years. I could only gain access to my 'alleged files' in my FTP account by paying £240. I am going to take these people to the small claims court I am not going to be conned out of £240.

Used to be quite a reasonable company and I used them for many years. Even forgiving the time when their server got hacked and half my websites hosted Brazilian porn for a few weeks without me knowing. No compensation offered then, in terms of extra months.

However, with the latest renewal they upped their price massively (over double for 36 months hosting). After saying I'd move on, they dropped the price, so OK I renewed.

5 months later they come back and say my VAT ID is invalid. Well yes, due to a business change the VAT registration went. However, why this wasn't picked up earlier I don't know. OK so I agree to pay the VAT but they added a HANDLING FEE too!
