I sent this company proof of payments…
I sent this company proof of payments made on bank transfer, no response, threatening letters only. Moved back to UK sent copy of my tenancy agreement, cancellation of my contract forthwith. No response. Threats on email constantly. Avoid this company at all costs. I hope they put me in court, I will produce proof and sue them for all my expenses.
Totally unprofessional, unfriendly, never would I use them again. I own a house in France yet will not ever use their services again.
Quitting SFR's never easy
Quitting my SFR-for-mobile contract was the most complicated challenge I've ever undertaken in all my days. But it was so worth the pain. I am now with Bouygues and have found a new lease of life. Instead of fighting losing battles with customer service reps who've been so badly let down by their top management, I have rediscovered the joys of life's simple things: the fragrance of fresh lavender, the whistling of birdsong, the laughs of infants.
Quitting SFR isn't easy. It's not designed to be. But don't give in. It is possible and it is marvellous on the other side.
Worst coverage , service ever
When arriving at Roissy airport ,I bought ,at a Relay store,a SIM kit of 80Gb which stated calls, sms, mms illimited and coverage for France and Italy .
When I arrived in Italy nothing was working, could not find an email address, nor talk to anyone.
I had to buy a Vodafone card in Italy and all worked fine when I got back to France.
Worst system and service ever.and don't try info at sfr.XX. ,it has been unplugged.
"A Frustrating Disconnect: Navigating Customer Service and System Shortfalls at SFR
My recent ordeal with SFR highlights several concerning issues regarding their customer service quality and the management of telephone lines. On March 28, 2024, my prepaid telephone line was suspended without any prior notice, initiating a frustrating series of events that spotlighted numerous shortcomings within SFR.
Firstly, the lack of communication before suspending my line is unacceptable. Customers should never find themselves without service without at least a warning or an explanation. This indicates a disregard for the impact such actions can have on one’s daily life.
Secondly, my attempt to resolve the issue by visiting the SFR store on the Champs-Élysées the following day only added to my frustration. I was informed that the suspension was due to an issue with the photo of my ID during my online registration—a problem that should have been easily solvable on the spot, especially after presenting a valid ID. The inability of the store to immediately unlock the line, even when faced with proof of identity, underscores procedural rigidity and a lack of customer service flexibility.
Thirdly, the advice from the store employee to avoid registering the line in my name in the future to prevent line blocking is both startling and concerning. This runs counter to the security and identity verification practices that are expected from telephone operators.
In conclusion, this experience with SFR reveals poor management of customer service situations and inconsistent internal procedures. The company needs to review its communication protocols with customers and improve staff training to more effectively handle service issues, ensuring customers are not left in the dark or without service due to avoidable reasons.
fraudsters
fraudsters, I will condemn you, they take more money than what is written in the contract, I have no internet for 5 days, they don't care Big SCAMMERS by SFR!
Terrible
Terrible, on en peut plus. Tant le service internet que le service client.
It’s a joke
It’s a joke. 3rd time in the last week we’re left with no internet because of, apparently « the rain ».
warning
I'm on the phone with the customer service of SFR about once a week because that's how often I have an issue with their products. Whether it is my internet box, my phone service, or my TV, I haven't gone two weeks without having trouble with their product. I cry about it very often because it's become a real burden in my life. And don't get me started on how misinformed and untrained their employees are. I've been their client for the past year and a half and I have nothing, and I mean nothing good to say about this company. I've never complained about services before, however, my experience with SFR is so catastrophic I felt the urge to warn people about it. Please do yourself a favor and consider any other provider.
Avoid
I purchased a SIM only deal, in Poitiers. The sales assistant didn't take my email address correctly and didn't activate the SIM, so unable to use it! Under French law you can annul an agreement of this type if you cancel within 10 days, which I thought I did. However the customer services team didn't register this fact, even though they had my SIM, I enclosed it with the termination of the contract. They debited the cost for the first month, which I refused. I tried phoning the number provided in the SMS messages they sent to my existing mobile number but never managed to speak to anyone. I revisited the shop and was told they couldn't do anything, even though it was their error! Since then I wrote 2 further letters going higher up the customer service chain each time, eventually I have received a reply informing me that my contract has now been cancelled, 3 months after I initially cancelled it. The company had passed my details on to a debt collection company, so to avoid futher complications I paid the money, even though I was never able to use the service. They are not going to reimburse me!!
So if you want to pay for no service use SFR if not the AVOID
The worst internet provider ever!!!

SFR refused to top up my internet package
I am new to the country and bought the first available sim card i could. My internet package of 80gb lasted not even 20 days and i do not even use it during the day. Doesn’t matter, since it is important to stay connected i went to an SFR shop to top up my package. The people who “welcomed” me looked at me straight in the face without any welcoming smile like i came from Mars and it was the first time they are hearing the word TOP UP. Another guy was asked to look after me. He asked me for my ID and i provided my original one. My sim card was registered under my Family name only, through a mistake of the customer service (i tried to modify online, but found out the changes were not applied) Then after some minutes he asked for my passport or any work permit. I do not walk around with my passport or work permit. So i said i do not have but i can show you the pictures on my mobile phone. He refused and declined to top up my account. It would be good if their staff could avoid making customers feel inferior for not speaking fluently their language or look a certain way and for their policies to not block people from topping up their own account and making them feel at the same time like they are trying to top up a stolen sim card. It felt humiliating for me so i left there quietly. Luckily i managed to topup in another shop. So if others could do it then i do not understand that guy’s refusal to top up my account. It just does not make any sense and this incident is prompting me to look for another operator.
Definitely the worst internet provider…
Definitely the worst internet provider I've ever had. Claimed speed 2 Gb/s. Speedtest shows 400 Mb/s, but seems to be artificially boosting connection speed when doing speedtests. Forget about high quality online videos.
No actual support, only automated bots. And they didn't even bother to make an English speaking bot or online chat. Only voice and only in French.
Can't imagine why someone with a drop of sanity would be a repeated customer at sfr.

If only i would look into Trustpilot before dipping into the depth of it with SFR…
If only i would look into Trustpilot before signing up... All above comments 100% true, it's the worst service provider and completely incompetent company. It's mind blowing that no one takes action to restructure, change culture, customer experience, while clearly company has stream of revenues and resources. It's like 100 disconnected puzzle pierces in one box with title SFR and it's up to your patience levels to solve the puzzle. Customer service,- had a mix bag, some really tried, but had to go 10 -15 times through multilingual line (and to prove that I am on it, while still on call) in order to get through English speaking, who personally took my case. It took 1,5 month to install broadband. 3 x technicians,- 2 of them lied to go down to pick something from their car downstairs and never came back. 1 of them had a trainee at the time, so he was training newcomer how to screw customer, where you can't solve issue by switching box off & on.
Awful, unprofessional, frustrating. Never again.
It's baffling how unprofessional and unreliable this company is. They delay their appointments for weeks. They charge fees and do not provide a service. It's impossible to get a decent answer from the customer service. They always shed responsibility away, if customer service says go to a shop, shop says call customer service, customer service says call a technician, the technician's number is not working, it's just a huge massive frustrating fraud.
