Redworth was all we expected. However our journey was problematic, our coach seating was chaotic. Firstly the coach was not a Shearings coach and our driver was new and our seats changed throughout the week possibly? because other people joined us for the days out only? but that was alien to us and never having experienced that with any other coach company.

I was very impressed by the organisation and seamless operation of the whole trip, from being picked up from home (optional extra) to arriving at the hotel, to being taken to the various places on our tour and back home again. We were very impressed by our driver, she was very friendly, light hearted and accommodating. We would highly recommend Shearings coach tours

The whole trip was very well organised, we were amazed at how Shearings logistics worked out how to get all passengers in the right places for their particular trips. Our driver was amazing. The hotel exceeded our expectations in quality of food and rooms. We would definitely book another trip later next year.

Beautiful hotel with lovely food overall. Room a bit tired looking but probably standard for coach parties. Towel rail not working and room radiator had to be coaxed by evening manager!. However, no real complaints.

Was a little disappointed in the amenities at the Hotel as it was classed as a 4*. No evening entertainment whatsoever, also not many choices of food in the evening (1 meat, 1 fish and vegetarian), we have had better than that on 3* rating hotels.

Beautiful setting and could be amazing. Definitely not 4 star. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bedroom was lovely, bathroom had a few bits that needed attention. Very clean. Corridors were in need of some attention very tired looking. We went with Sherings and the menu was very limited and small portions. The food I had was lovely.

Hotel would have been good had it not been for continuous power cuts which are an ongoing thing and very regular posing a health and safety issue when in the shower as no emergency lighting in bathrooms and bedrooms Beamish excursion excellent otherwise other excursions lack content
