Quick and Accurate Tech Support
I have a few Shelly products and I've been impressed with the quality of construction and number of features. I've never had to contact their tech support before, but I was impressed with the speed of the reply as well as getting straight to the problem without asking me a lot of redundant questions.
I recently purchased a Shelly PRO Dimmer 2PM. After installation there was a problem with the calibration. I think it was expecting 220v for Europe, but I live in the US with 120v.
Their tech support was quick with a solution and I appreciate that they didn't have me run through a lot of silly fixes like resetting and checking my wiring.
I took one star off because I feel that this really shouldn't have been a problem in the first place. They should fix their firmware or put the solution in the installation guide.

I've been a Shelly user for over two years and have consistently had positive experiences with their equipment, app, and delivery service, never needing to contact support until recently.
A few weeks ago, I encountered two issues: one Shelly device arrived damaged during shipping, and another was malfunctioning. When I reached out about the damaged unit, their support promptly sent a replacement that arrived within days. For the malfunctioning device, they quickly resolved the situation by providing a code to purchase a newer model from their shop with the addition of free shipping.
I was already impressed with Shelly devices and app, but now I'm equally impressed with their customer support. They responded quickly and resolved both issues promptly. The experience was so positive that it would be unfair not to share it.

They helped me with a technical problem and managed to resolve it quickly and in the best possible way. They were super helpful and sorted out absolutely everything.

Ihad a Problem with a Shelly 1PM gen. 3. A colleague wich left the company had registered it in a test account, so i couldnt sign in in my account. I set up a ticket and had a solution within less than 12 hours. Great job.
Shelly's are the best
I have been into house automation for many years (over 20). Out of all the devices I have tried, I have found Shellys to be the best. Their APP and support are very good. There is nothing you can't do by connecting Shelly's to your house. I have 120 device and can't complain about any of their functions.

Shelly makes great products and their customer service has always been super responsive and helpful. I think they have some negative ratings here because of courier delays outside their control. I have never had anything but a great experience. Currently own 47 of their products in my home and very happy with them and the service provided.

Order item, paid for item... great...
After 2 days still no delivery so I checked their site and it said order hadnt despatched. I contacted customer service who said it was royal mails fault and to wait a" little bit more time", another two days pass - still no updates. Contacted custom4er service again, this time they said it wasnt their fault and it was with royal mail, i pointed out that i didnt buy from royal mail but was meant with "computer says no" type attitude.
I try to buy locally or direct from ,manufacturer rather than use the corporate retail mega giants but this type of thing doesnt make that choice easy.
Their products are really great but they cant run retail/cx - avoid direct purchasing
Too complicated
I have purchased several Shelly devices. All were delivered quickly. I unboxed the H&T gen 3 device and read the installation guide. I also installed the mobile app. Could I connect the device - NO. Was the Shelly website any help - NO. Was customer service any help - NO. was YOUTUBE or any other social network any help - NO. The simple problem with Shelly devices and the Shelly app is that they are way too complicated. In this day and age, it is not unreasonable to expect devices and apps to seamlessly connect but don’t expect this with Shelly devices. I couldn’t setup the app and device, my tech savvy kids finally managed it after. In all honesty, buy other products that are user friendly.
Shelly corporation don’t listen to customers
I have a current measuring device called 3EM. Somehow it measures PF Power Factor, but it’s not relevant if I don’t sell electricity from example Solar panels. My PF can differ from 0.25-0.9 and because Shelly have the PF in the effect calculation the measured effect from my house is totally wrong and I can’t trust the Shelly device. I’ve suggested to them two times now, they can have an option in the software to calculate with or without PF, but they don’t listen. 👎🏻
Order 14/Jan/24 - Goods Never Arrived
Goods ordered on 14th January 2024 and Items never received to date.
Contacted Shelly Europe numerous times requested refund or re-ship with no response.
Chargeback initiated with credit card company.
Shockingly bad company and customer service, my advice is to stay well clear.
