Just to let people know that this company is in the hands of the liquidators

After trying to work with two other firms, I am happy we found Shencoh and have gone through a few successful claims with them. You may opt to have them submit the document or do so via your own accountant. Thorough, professional approach and they take the time to explain and respond to questions in a timely manner. With the pandemic, it has taken a little time to get through to your contact via telephone, as many seem to be working at home, but this is expected. They are really quick on calling or emailing you back. Reegan Eckersley is especially good, she keeps in regular contact, sends reminders and provides great service.

This company largely exists to try and extract money from unwary people. I have told them time and again I am not interested in their services and yet they are attempting to obtain £120 from me for services I don't want. The letters they send are signed with an illegible squiggle and no name so you can't actually speak to anyone and even if you attempt to call back and speak to someone who has left you a message, they claim they can't put you through to them as they "don't have a switchboard". Either that or the person is in a meeting or some other made up excuse. I'm about to report them to both the office of fair trading and the financial services authority. Stay well clear of them.

I have just gone through a successful claim with Shencoh that was short of nothing but efficient and easy. Their process was explained clearly to me and my account manager kept in regular contact with me to keep prodding me. I have claimed with other firms before but the individual I spoke with from Shencoh had a much better knowledge of my industry and what we do. Would 100% recommend.

With the pandemic ongoing, I was extremely worried I would not be able to pay my tax bill. I was approached by Shencoh and they facilitated 2 R&D claims which has now reduced my tax bill to what I am able to afford. 5 STARS!

You are entering a five year agreement, for basically a transcript of the technical call and ultimately you have to submit the document via your own accountant.

Once your in a contract you will realise these people are painful to deal with and there is no value what so ever avoid big time.

I started the claim last month and received my rebate this morning. Quick and efficient. Cannot thank Shencoh enough!

I left a review after being asked by Shencoh to leave one, which in hindsight is an odd approach. We run a business and use Trust Pilot and NEVER chase consumer to leave messages, anyhow, the reason why i am leaving this SECOND review lies behind the selling techniques used by Shencoh. Simply be very careful when or if approached as all it not what it seems, unless of course you feel relaxed at getting tied up with these guys for FIVE years, yes FIVE years. When challenged the legal team e mail you a transcript of the original call, where the term is mentioned along with other terms etc in a pretty rapid way. This is the proof they will use if challenge, YOU were told so you agreed to the agreement. Be careful, seriously businesses like this and more so their approach should be closely monitored as its unfair and heavy handed, irrespective of what is promised or obtained from H.M.R.C. Irrespective of the FIVE year clause we will NEVER use this business again.

Absolute joke of a company and thanks to Godfrey they get 1 star. We spent a long time over the phone talking about the services on offer and how they could potentially save me my business money. Before even confirming that we had an opportunity for an R&D claim Kiran was pushing me to sign to an agreement. I pushed back because I felt like I needed more time and later read the terms and conditions which are on a SEPARATE document. The terms state that you are signing up for a 5 year agreement as others have pointed out. 5 years without being able to speak to any other firms in relation to related claims. They literally said 'click the button to sign' without going into those details. I emailed back to express my disappointment at this and today I was called by 'Godfrey' who is the compliance manager. He said that they did mention the 5 years - although it was passively mentioned and not in detail but over a 40 minute conversation things like this need to be hammered home, it's not a small detail. I wanted to give them an opportunity to take my feedback and pointed out other bad reviews, Godfrey's response was to ask me to look at McDonalds reviews. Ridiculous customer service. They genuinely do not care about how they run their business, it is shoddy and cowboyish. Avoid like the plague. Learn how to take customer feedback before you call your customers.

Avoid at all costs. Horrible company who have no idea what they are doing!

Now they are trying to sue us 2+ years later after having left them and had no contact since. Claiming several false accounts of events that never even happened!

Clearly they are losing customers left and right to search up old contracts to exploit.

Awful service from Shencoh.
Having no choice but to use them (because of a long contract term which is very unfair) but they got my claim wrong AGAIN!. They've had to submit it twice and then sending me many many invoices for the same thing, even though i've had confirmation that payment has been received! If you can, avoid this company as much as you can. There are better companies out there, at a much cheaper rate, without the unfair long term contracts.

Helpful, informative and patient. I'd previously found out that R&D claims aren't for the fainthearted, but Shencoh sailed through everything. They took time to understand my product and did everything to make the claim a success. Their commission was a small price to pay for the 40% or so that I saved on my tax bill.

Our experience of dealing with Shencoh was excellent and very smooth throughout. Not having been through this process before, every member of the Shencoh team was more than willing to advise us along the way, nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend Shencoh.

A friend recommended me to Shencoh. They were patient and thorough in getting all the details needed for my R&D activities. I was assured I would get a substantial tax return right from the start, but I didn't expect it to be so high. I was pleasantly surprised. I can't fault their services and I'd recommend them to any company eligible for research and development tax credit.

At first, I was doubtful about R&D and my tax rebate eligibility. But Shencoh took me through the claims process efficiently and patiently. I gained a substantial tax credit as a result of my company's efforts in innovation. Thanks.

They do a good job, however they are expensive, competitors are a lot cheaper. But what was really wrong was the fact they failed to mention we were entering a 5 year contract. This was never mentioned during the sales process. This was very poor and bad of them, it has now tainted our relationship.

The views expressed our my own and what I have experienced. I’m concerned that others will be blinded by this companies selling tactics. I’m warning others to be vigilant when dealing with this company.
