Used Shocal Doncaster for the first time today and I have to say I had no problems at all with the service provided.

The courier was pleasant and friendly and arrived within the arranged time slot.

If I have any criticism, it's with the app itself. During the process the app updated itself until it came to the delivery itself, it gave no indication that the courier was on his/her way, just a knock at the door. Then the app updated to "delivered".

All in all, a good service.

The avocado & prawn cocktail seemed very good value for the price on here and I requested is marked as Gluten free. We all liked our main meals the others not needing to avoid gluten had Lamb Klefftiko, chichen iskender. I had several things to choose from and picked seafood galore which was very nice with a nice sauce in a pot. The others ordered puddings but I knew I would be full. I did write on my order to be clear I was ordering because they were gluten free, I am always careful, now I have several place on this app I can get gluten free things from, so nice to have a choice.

Excellent app for good food

What a fantastic app shocal is, never fails to impress me. A great variety of shops and restaurants all independent traders and all delivered within the hour, even personalised gifts.

Excellent experience from start to finish. App easy to use, ordered my food which was delivered when I wanted it (piping hot might I add!!) by a professional driver. Whole experience spot on!! Definitely recommend using this service which we are so very lucky to have at out fingertips! :-)

Fantastic service. With a great variety of shops available.

The worse bit of lockdown was the thought of missing out on all of our favourite restaurants and takeaways but thanks to the brilliant service from SHOCAL, we’re still able to have some form of normality. The app allows you to order at ease, from multiple restaurants and is ALWAYS delivered on time by a friendly driver. Just wish there were a few more restaurants, that we like, on board!

Truly the best local high street service there is! With the ability to order from multiple places in one go and it delivered within the hour is amazing. All drivers are locals which really adds to the local community touch.
