RUDEST, NASTIEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!

This store has got the WORST customer service. Never in my life have I been treated in a store so rudely. I had someone bringing me a pair of boots and since they work on commission no one else was able to help me with another pair. That first guy was nowhere to be seen, and finally he came I was holding a few more styles that I wanted to try and he was like those are not available in your size. Those are the last pairs, and he was gone without even looking at them. So I proceeded to try on the floor sample boots which were my size actually, and then another guy (or maybe it was the same) came and grabbed all the boots away. You can't try on floor sample boots.

I settled on two boots that I wanted and tried again to ask anybody else to bring me the boots and to even just tell me the price. Nobody wanted to help me. Finally the original rude salesman came back, and he said he will bring it for me. He brought me only one, and he was gone. I tried again to locate him, and finally I did. I asked where is the other one. He said you can only try on one at a time. I am like: HU? I want to compare them!!! He said he will lose his job, if I want to try on another one together. So I asked him to speak to the manager. He said she should be around here. So I said can you please show me where. He said I can't call her. I asked again and this time he said she's on lunch. I said you don't start that with me, so he said oh there she is. She was standing right in back of me the entire time. RUDEST, NASTIEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!

Really terrible manager and customer service on 14th st. and Broadway NYC

If you want to return shoes, they don't refund you, they only exchange them with other shoes in the store you bought them, not even any other Shoemania store. They do not have many sizes so if you cannot find your size, you're out, which is ridiculous. They do not even try to get your size. The manager in the store (14th and Broadway NYC) has really bad attitudes and no sense of customer service. He was extremely rude and made bad remarks to me when I asked him to give me a refund since I could not find any shoes to exchange with (no size, not many options). It also looks like they use their African/Caribbean salespeople badly because when I got an order from another salesperson than the salesperson who talked to me first, they got into a fight in front of me. I had horrible experiences there and it made me think that this place is run by Turkish or Eastern European (that is what seems like) mafia. Really a terrible store. I hope the store will go out of business soon or at least change the manager.

Horrible customer service

Shoemania DOES NOT stand behind the products that they sell. I have lived in NYC for the last 8 years and have dealt with this store in person multiple times. However, my first online experience with them that transcended into an in-store experience was absolutely horrendous. I ordered a pair of Camper boots from them in size 38 via Amazon.com Marketplace. They were too small, so I called them to get a return authorization number and returned the shoes at my own expense. At the same time, I had them send me a pair of size 39s. These fit. Everything was fine until a few days later, while on vacation in NYC (I now live in CA), when I noticed that the shoes were leaking water in from the bottom (through the sole of the shoe -- not the top) while I was walking around in some drizzle. The bottoms of my socks were soaked. I called Shoemania to ask them to replace the shoe. They told me that it was my problem to call Camper and deal with it. I told them that they sold me the shoes so they should stand behind what they sell. They continued to argue that it was my problem as the consumer. They also said "The shoes are not waterproof." My response was that the shoes did not even meet minimum standards and that I did not even own a pair of Gore-Tex waterproof shoes and none of my other shoes ever leaked this way. It was not until I threatened them that I would show up at their physical store the next day that they finally seemed friendlier and more accommodating. So I went to Shoemania's store on 853 Broadway the next day and they allowed me to exchange the offending pair of shoes for another pair. After being dragged through the mud, I left less-than-favorable feedback about my experience on Amazon.com's feedback system and they even had the gall to CALL me on my cell phone to complain that I left negative feedback. I told them that the feedback reflected my experience with their TERRIBLE costomer service. They then retaliated by calling me a liar and a thief. NEVER EVER BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!
