Absolute disgrace

Really wish I’d checked trust pilot before placing my order on 10th July 2023. Exactly the same as everyone says. Order gets accepted then stays processing, no replies to emails and no contact details for them either. Luckily I to paid PayPal so hopefully should get my refund soon.

Scam. Ignored emails. PayPal got involved and the shop issued a ECHEQUE!! And cancelled it on day 5 waiting to clear.. twice. Stalling tactic. Got my refund from PayPal so guess they’ll be chasing it from the shop now stay welll away from this…

I'd break their jaws if I ever found them! This tells you enough about my experience with the shop around the corner. The end.

No contact phone number, the email address is a no-reply inbox and the messaging feature on the website is pointless as you won't get a reply. shoparoundthecorner2020 at outlook.com does deliver but, again, you won't get a reply.
I paid by Paypal, so raised a case & the "seller" was very quick to respond to their inquiry and issued a refund the next day. Whether payment will clear is another matter. 🙄 I also note they suddenly updated the banner on the website indicating they are still processing orders. Ugh. I've reported them to Trading Standards for what that's worth.
Please avoid this bogus "business".

UPDATE: As anticipated the "sellers" refund failed to go through,🙄 so Paypal refunded me today themselves. Glad I'm not out of pocket, but I am concerned for those who paid by a different method & those who will continue to fall for the scam. If you've come here to read reviews before purchasing, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Feels like a scam - order went through April 20th, zero since, website says they're processing orders way past mine, zero reply from them. £25 wasted.

Avoid, avoid avoid! Ordered end of 2022, and yet I’m still waiting for my order no 1011! No reply to any messages. How can they carry on taking money from people!

Ordered in November 22, it’s now 8 months later. Sent upwards of 20 emails no answer and no Texan bars. £20 wasted.

As with many, many, many people on here I too have fallen foul of these scamming oxygen thieves. I will be reporting to police, trading standards, action fraud and basically anyone that may act to these disgusting waste of skin shut down and held accountable. £40+ down the drain. Several messages sent no reply, obviously too busy stealing oxygen to answer.

Help shut this scam website down. Report to Squarespace who are enabling this scam. Report to the BBC, Action Fraud and the NCSC.

Yup, same as everyone else. I've been ripped off. 29 quid lost. Been waiting 3 months now for 6 bars of retro chocolate Cabana bars. Countless emails sent with zero reply. Im taking this to an investigation team on the BBC. So sad. But hey hopefully we'll get them stopped from trading.

1 star is too much. Sent emails and no reply. Ordered 27th April and still nothing. After reading these reviews I'm thinking I'll never receive my order.. lost £29.00 😞

Unfortunately I'm in the same situation as many of the other reviewers...my nostalgic love for texan bars has cost me £25. Ordered 1st Feb 23 and nothing.... contacted many times and nothing. I'm going to attempt a charge back via my bank but cos now it's over 3 months don't think it's now possible. 1 star is too much...should be minus 5 stars.

I really wish I had come to see these reviews before I made an order - just got so excited of trying cabana bars, which my mum talks about, how lovely they were. This person obviously knows people will make orders and I'm guessing, is making an absolute killing and conning people left right and center. Scum.

I ordered beginning of April 2023 and its been over a month now and no email - they've been updating the website banner and doing a deal over the coronation weekend.

I have sent an email asking for an update and tonight after reading these I sent an email - I think they do read them ,they just don't reply.
Just think it's so awful with cost of living and these people do this! 😡

An absolute scam and sham! Do not order anything from them! I ordered half a dozen Cabana bars- £12 plus £5 postage! They never arrived, my order was placed on the 12th February. I have emailed on numerous occasions with no response. Something has to be done about this business! Total SCAM! Beware!

Diabolical, NEVER order from these, placed an order in December 22, never received items or heard anything from them even when I sent several emails, AN ABSOLUTE SCAM take your money and then never get back to you

I'd give this a zero if I could. This is a total scam company. Take your money do not deliver and do not reply to messages I had to raise a card dispute to get a refund.

Please listen! This is a scam! I ordered Texan bars on Feb 4th. I have emailed 4 times and had no response. Do not order from them! They should be shut down!!!!
