Used to work as a musician for the old company earcandy - read the reviews yourself on trust pilot.
They will take your money and run, it's the most unprofessional set up I've ever seen and director Ben Rogers should probably be prosecuted.
AVOID. RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN.
Awful company, it’s a sham. This company was previously Earcandy. They stole our money, we only found out their previous company (Earcandy) went into liquidation after multiple emails. We were told a DJ MIGHT turn up to our wedding and they only replied when we threatened legal action. Once threatening taking them to small claims court we were passed a random number and told to contact them. They trawl DJ groups looking for random DJ’s a couple of days before events. Disgusted with this company, fortunately we found an incredible DJ (feel the funk disco if you’re getting married in the Cotswolds) who saved the day. Don’t even bother considering this company!

I booked earcandy for my wedding, they never even emailed to say they had gone into liquidation then I find out they have set up a new business I am now over £500 down, I don’t want others to fall for this scam artist, as we have now researched him and his other companies and looks like this is the norm for him opening businesses then liquidising them to then make another business.
As per other reviews i can confirm this is a terrible company run by terrible people. I have an ongoing dispute.
As other people are saying, this company is a rebrand of the liquidated Earcandy music. It is a SCAM. There are many Earcandy clients who never got their money back, never got their band, because Ben Rogers took their money and ran with it. I do not want to imagine the number of sleepless nights those clients have at the hands of Ben Rogers. Stay a million miles clear of anything with his name, or his bands (Soul Fresh / Motown Gold etc) on it.
Every company he runs is brutally mismanaged to the point of liquidation, underpaying his staff and musicians along the way, and in the end the client pays the price. He then runs away with your money and creates a new company.
He is a thief, a con artist, and please do not even give this company a second thought. There are plenty of legitimate wedding/party bands and agency who will treat you like customers and provide a top, straightforward service.
Earcandy has gone into liquidation and as somewhat already mentioned in their review, this company has been create by the same people.
I paid Earcandy via credit card, so I’m able to get my money back, but we are three weeks from the wedding and we need to find another solution for the music.
Apparently, they are just taking deposit and liquidating companies.
Appalling. These are EarCandy rebranded as Signature Music Productions.
1. Earcandy have gone into liquidation
2. They are fobbing people off saying the acts are still contracted to perform
3. The acts aren’t responding
4. Earcandy didn’t pay any acts despite taking deposits and payments so we’ve all lost our money and no secured performer
5. Earcandy have now had the audacity to set up a new company called Signature Music Production and are listing the same acts on the site, yet for hugely inflated prices.
Earcandy were terrible to contact on a good day. Now this has happened. They’ve taken us all for mugs and run off with our payments to then start up a brand new company.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
This company is a scam. The director Ben Rogers has been creating and liquidating music companies for years. He and his new business partner Anwar Siziba will take your deposit money for a music band (usually Motown gold) and then liquidates once he has enough customers deposits. The last company is did this to was Earcandy Entertainment and before that K&B productions and before that Earcandy Film and so on. Avoid at all costs.
