No Communication and very unprofessional
I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, and I genuinely gave SiliconeCustoms multiple chances to resolve this. I placed an order on July 2nd, left a note requesting someone contact me to discuss cavity sizing (as this was important to my use case), and received no confirmation email, no product, and very little communication overall.
I tried to reach out through several channels—email, phone, their messaging system—and while they offered to arrange a phone call, it was never honoured. Weeks passed with no updates or explanation.
Eventually, I received a short email stating that my refund had “already been processed”—no apology, no acknowledgment of the missed call or the lack of communication. I understand things go wrong sometimes, but courtesy and accountability go a long way, and neither were offered here.
I’m glad I’ve been refunded, but I can’t give more than one star based on my experience. Hopefully others receive better service, but in my case, it fell far below expectations.
EDIT: Regarding SiliconeCustoms reply. Yes I was given a refund, however they did not offer me a refund until I sent a second email formally requesting a refund and threatening further action. Only at this time did I receive an apology from them
They seem to believe that I could have been aware that they were not taking orders at the time I placed mine, however this was absolutely no way I could have known this as there was nothing on their website to state this, and they did not reach out to me to state that this was the case
Regarding the phone call, the company themselves asked me to schedule this, which I did on the 6th of July. It is now the 20th of July and today is the first time they have explained why they did not attend the phone
They are blatantly smearing the truth, as I was given ZERO indication that they were not operating, and despite reaching out several times via phone call and emails, they only explained themselves today and offered an apology today, despite being able to email me on the 16th
I am now taking this further to the Northern Ireland’s Official Consumer Supports Service and will be filing a complain to the UK’s Trading Standards
