Returning customer. Easy to use website. With good descriptive photo's of item.
Ordered some Suede Monkey boots on 18th February 2026 at 11.47am and they were despatched already at 13.11pm, the same day to Royal Mail with tracking number.
Just arrived today on the 20th within estimated time.
Very pleased with my purchase and no surprises.
Well priced boots and a reasonable delivery charge.

Six weeks ago I sent my watch to have a new movement fitted, it came back in two weeks, with a substantial amount of white paint flaking off the face, and pieces of paint loose on the inside of the glass.
I rang them up mentioned the flaking paint a woman said it was coming off before they touched it, I had photos of before and after and there was a small amount of flaking that had happened but Nowhere near as much as when they returned the watch to me. I asked why they didn’t contact me and suggest that it needed a new face. The woman Was very unhelpful bordering on rude! She said they could replace the face at a cost to me of £50, plus postage which I wouldn’t have had to pay had they rung me and said it needed a new face, she said they would do it quickly so I wasn’t without my watch, so I sent it off again, two weeks later I hadn’t got it back so I rung them up again, they said it would be sent next day special delivery from Royal Mail, still took another two weeks, another phone call where the woman was extremely rude, she had obviously delayed the return because of my complaining to her.
The customer service at silvermans is terrible virtually non existent, the woman who dealt with my case needs a lesson in customer care, she hung up on me as I was still talking, I will never use them again, and I would not recommend them or their shabby treatment of customers to anyone!!,
It’s a shame as the watch is a very good one but I will not replace it with another from silvermans.
One very disappointed ex customer.

Ordered a G10 watch last week with the green and yellow stretch strap with laser engraving. Couldn’t be happier with it. Got it delivered quickly and they’re just how i remember them from when I served. Great effort team.

I traveled to London recently and needed a pair of trousers . I saw Silvermans was the UK stockist.

The shop was like a jumble sale chaotic very little stock of 5.11 and virtually no choice in sizes

I managed to get a pair of apex trousers from an assistant from a back room . As such no price on them. When I went to buy them wow £89.99 …. I got back to my hotel googled the trousers and see from Tac Tree I can buy the same pants for £46 ….. ( the average on line price is about £70 still £20 and £29% more nearly a third more and more than double Tac trees price I think in anyone’s language I’ve been ripped off !

I can’t go back to returning them ! If Silberman’s are reading this yes I’d gladly return them by post.

My advice to you is avoid this company ! If you really must shop here …. Sit on the bench in the shop and google what your going to buy

I've bought so much from Silverman's over the decades, starting with my beloved RAF greatcoat (which was de rigueur back in the 1970s) through to my rareybird tiger stripe and black Alpha M65 coats and much more besides. Who could forget those silk WREN's chuddies! Without exception the service has been first class. The lowball reviews are probably from failed scammers- they waste their time trying to take these guys on! Just go to the shop(s) and see how good Silverman's set up is. Definitely both thumbs-up from me.

Absolutely over the moon with my cabot watch it was well packaged ordered Monday was with me on Wednesday super quick and very efficient. Nice box with registration card is a nice touch. Don't go anywhere else for a cabot watch Silvermans are the guys you need to deal with 5 stars came all set up with the correct time. Five stars is justified here. Thanks very much.

Purchased a pair of Altberg Motorcycle Boots. Had to order 3 pairs to get correct size. All arrived next day and refunds on wrong sizes refunded upon return.
Great communication via email on the same day.

A great company of long standing supplying surplus military and police kit, outdoors, camping, and Bushcraft Survival type useful kit items.

I shopped online in past weeks. Really enjoyed shopping there again. Hope in coming weeks to get up to the shop again at Mile End, London. Just as I regularly used to do in the early nineties when I was a TA Infantry reservist. It never failed to cheer me up after a day in London to have the privilege of shopping there and talking to Mr Silverman. Always good to talk kit with. As he always knew his stuff. Like Jungle Eddie McGee used to say. 'Never bluff, know your stuff.' Mr Silverman did do. And we all respected him for that.

Went to this fantastic shop yesterday and purchased a schott jacket. It’s the only place in London I could find that sold them the staff were super friendly and very helpful I’d recommend this shop to all

Let me start by saying I have never experienced such a pleasurable experience regarding shopping . From calling the office and visiting the shop ..every aspect was perfect including calling the shop as had trouble parking . In the words of arnie......I will be back

I recently attempted to purchase a watch from this company two months ago and I still haven't received it yet. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with an online purchase, and I feel compelled to share my negative experience with others to warn them about what they may potentially go through if they choose to do business with this company.

I cannot express how disappointed and infuriated I am with this company's lack of communication and failure to deliver on their promises. I was initially excited to order the watch as it appeared to be of high quality and had received positive reviews online. However, after placing my order and receiving confirmation, I never received the watch.

I attempted to contact the company multiple times through their customer support email, but I received only vague response.

At this point, I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed with the entire experience. It's unacceptable for a company to take a customer's money and not deliver on their promises or even communicate with them about any potential delays.
Two months is an unreasonable amount of time to wait for a watch, and I feel as though my time and money have been wasted.

I would not recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase a watch or any other products. They have shown a complete lack of respect for their customers, and I regret doing business with them. I hope that my negative experience can serve as a warning to others, and that they will choose to take their business elsewhere.

I ordered an M65 jacket in Olive, they sent a black one. Poor shopping experience from day one. Royal mail wouldn't drop at a safe place. Poorly wrapped in a plastic bag with rips. Jacket is rolled up and stuffed in the bag and I imagine creased.
For a £200 coat they have given zero care about it.
All in all I award Silverman's zero stars for this.

When I was in the reserve forces in the nineties no trip up into London was complete without my stopping off to shop for extra buy yourself military outdoors kit items here from Mr Silverman at Silverman's. It's always been one of my most favourite places to shop. Knowledge there of the team is second to none and the quality of genuine surplus kit unparalleled as far as I was concerned. Looking forwards to shopping there in person one day soon again. Have shopped there online also. Very good standard of customer care and service.
