I’ve never had a bad experience ordering from Simon. Huge selection and the $5.00 off coupons are a great incentive for return purchases.
Ghosted and overcharged
Ordered the Tim Holtz Christmas in July collage kit along with other products. The kit was intended for a live class co-produced by Simon Says Stamp. There was a delay in sending the order and it didn't arrive in time for the class. I reached out for help and was ignored, other than a small distraction to remove me from asking for a reply on social media. The parcel hadn't even left the USA by the class date. The parcel also didn't declare that VAT had been paid, so it was held by customs and wouldn't be released until I paid the VAT again and an admin fee. There was some damage to the contents from customs having a rummage about. I'm now financially out of pocket by over £50 and need to go through a tedious process to try and claim some of this back from HMRC. I asked Simon Says Stamp for help and they have again ignored me.
Stay away from them. No package, no response.
Tried giving Simon Says Stamp another chance after a terrible experience a few years ago — big mistake.
Same story again: a dishonest, unreliable company with nonexistent customer service.
They ignored all my messages, and I had to involve PayPal just to get my money back.
They don’t respond, don’t ship, and clearly don’t care. Absolute scammy behavior.
Never again.
False Reviews
Simon Says Stamp is censoring consumer reviews. Consumers who leave negative reviews for a product, are being censored, and not being made public. This is against Federal law, as the FTC bans censoring real reviews (positive or negative). Consumers have sent the owner requests to stop and comply with federal law, yet they willfully have not stopped. Please know that the owner and her website, do not accurately and actually reflects reviews left by consumers. Instead, they are intentionally misleading consumers. Buyers Beware!
No responses or order received
UK customer. 1st order earlier this year took many weeks (I receive orders from other US companies in a few days). 2nd order placed on Dec. 4th, allegedly shipped on 6th. Tracking shows 11th, 14th and 16th with carrier. It is now 23rd December. The order hasn't moved, I presume lost. These were CHRISTMAS ITEMS including the Tim Holtz diecember gift - I only placed the order to get this. So now money paid, no updates, no responses, no order. Note that the shipping and duty makes the overall cost twice as much as the goods ordered, so ordering with SSS is a carefully considered and costly decision. Bitterly disappointed and categorically won't order again. Why do so many high profile people in the craft industry support and promote them? I just don't understand. SSS has lost my faith as well as my custom. Bitterly disappointed. Just don't bother. As many others have said, just shop elsewhere with companies who value their customers.
Simon Says Stamp
Simon Says Stamp has excellent products. I would give them a 5-star rating, however, their choice of shipping 'provider' is Asendia. Check their reviews before purchasing, especially for overseas deliveries.
Horrible company
Horrible company. Slow to ship, no phone number…poor customer service.

I have spent between $5-$10k just in the past two years here and only used a coupon twice (and only $5 each)- I placed an order that was several hundred dollars and they denied a five dollar coupon because it was expired b6 mere hours. I feel they should take loyalty into consideration. Also a cutter that was $100 only worked twice and basically they said oh well, buy another cartridge. I will buy from scrapbook .com from now on.
I have placed 2 orders
I have placed 2 orders, both orders were received very very quickly! Super fast shipping and Great prices! Highly recommended
Processing and shipping orders takes way too long!!!
I love their products and am a member of their card making kit of the month club. However, they are so slow to ship everything. They announced their January card kit around the second week in December, it took over a month for them to ship it to me when other card makers were receiving theirs weeks before. Currently, I placed an order over a week ago that is still not processed. They released their February card kit last week, they state they start invoicing and shipping on the 16th of each month for the following month. I have not received an invoice and do not expect the kit until after Valentine's day even though it has a Valentine's day theme. It is very frustrating, to the point I am considering another card kit on the month club.

the worst customer Service I have ever experienced
This online shop has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They are just looking to get rid of you quickly and are not at all interested in helping. Especially when it comes to difficult situations, you are simply ignored and no longer receive an answer. I'm totally disappointed because I'm also a very good customer. They have great products, but they are also way too expensive. On social media they portray themselves as being very customer-oriented and wanting to be the one stop Shop for you. unfortunately the reality is different. I can definitely not recommend this shop anymore. I am very sad about it but they don’t care about customer satisfaction.
SSS has the worst shipping of any craft…
SSS has the worst shipping of any craft supply company I have purchased from (and believe me, I purchase from a LOT of different companies!) They might tell you your order has shipped but if you track it it seems to sit in limbo for literally weeks! It usually takes 4-6 weeks for my orders to arrive. I live in Ontario, Canada. I can order from Great Britain and receive my goods in less than 2 weeks and that’s coming across the ocean! I rarely buy from them anymore unless it is an item I can’t get elsewhere. So sad. Seems like something that would have an easy solution but I have asked them to give options for more efficient shipping but my request seems to land on deaf ears.

I usually love Simon Says Stamp whether it is online or at Stampaway USA. They just switched over to a new website and I had been trying to login without any success. Due to that issue and illness I missed out on making a "birthday purchase". When I finally figured out what I needed to do to get place the order on their new website. The birthday code wouldn't work. Sent an email and they explained the code had expired. I replied back as to why I couldn't meet the deadline (due to their new website), the response was basically "too bad". I have been a customer for several years and was pretty disappointed in SSS. I guess I will shop else where and unsubscribed to my email subscription.
NO customer service
I've dealt with this company, the only two times I ordered, about my unhappiness with the product I received. First, you cannot talk to a live person. Second, both times they told me to go pound sand. I got the product and now I'm stuck with it. I had one of the products for two days after it arrived, and I realized it was not what I wanted and yet there is no customer satisfaction, she told me via email to READ THE RETURN POLICY. I only tried to return things two times, I didn't even ask for a refund. I said I would get something else and both times they told me too bad. They insult their customers with 5% off and never offer free shipping. They have no incentives whatsoever and on top of it they have lousy customer service. Do not order from this company! If you don't like it, you're screwed.
Good Products, Lousy Customer Service
They have good products and a good selection, but there customer service is pathetic. My most recent order was deemed ‘undeliverable’ by the USPS. I called on Monday to request a replacement and was told they had to look into it first, and to call back on Friday if I hadn’t heard from them. They have my correct address on file, so any error comes from their side. No message from them so have now called again for a refund. Who knows how long that will take.
Absolutely brilliant!
Absolutely brilliant!! Extremely fast turnaround, my orders are usually filled and mailed the same day, get them 2 days after that. No more waiting 10 days or more. The products are the same great quality of other stores I highly recommend this company.
Excellent Experiences
I have placed several orders from Simon Says Stamp, and have had a great experience every time. Items are well priced, packaged carefully, and shipped quickly. Highly recommend!
The WORST…
I had tried ordering from them before and didn’t have a great customer service experience… I ordered items that were “in stock” when I ordered but mysteriously were sold out before my order shipped. So because of the one item being “out of stock” (which means the item was oversold) their intention was to wait til the item came in and ship everything together… a month later and still processing… I asked to cancel the order and requested a refund which I was told there would be a cancelation fee…
One year later I decide to try again (shame on me) this time I ordered the card kit for November literally when it dropped. 14 days later my order is “still processing” I was told the “card making kit staff is small and the kits are hand made” (nothing hand made about it, it’s literally stamps and paper thrown into a box with a lollipop) no more difficult I would think then packing a normal order. I guess if you consider that handmade… and that they are being shipped as they “roll out of production.” Sounds like a bunch of BS to me. If you put it on your for sale site and it’s not a “reserve” item isn’t it safe to assume as a customer that the item is in stock and ready to ship??? This card kit is for Thanksgiving, guess I’ll hang on to it till next year due to late shipping, I’m out of time for this year. Also, when I finally did receive my kit (which also had crappy substituted items) I’d ordered other items in addition but ended up with someone one else’s order…. When I let SSS know they told me “oh I’m sorry to hear that, we will send the items you ordered (except for one item because it’s now out of stock you can request a refund, but we will charge you a fee) and please send us back what you didn’t order”. seriously. No packing slip or invoice in the package. So now your mistake is even more of an inconvenience to me.
Too many craft companies with exceptional customer service standards to ever shop with SSS again… they have no problem taking you money instantly, too bad they don’t feel the same about completing your order.
I hope this helps someone
Poorly managed company in all areas
After having repeated issues with shipping and customer service over the years I had stopped shopping w/ SSS with the exception of Stamptember. I don't know what I was thinking as I decided after this years Stamptember event to place a regular order w/ SSS. I ordered a Tim Holtz item that had been announced as being discontinued & was glad to have gotten it before they were all gone &/or only on ebay for $$$$. 5 days after getting my "order confirmation" they cancel it and item is no longer in stock -- no kidding, of course not -- and in those 5 days it's no longer in stock anywhere else either. How could you over sell this? What lousy inventory control they must have. NEVER AGAIN
