The dresses I received were like in the pictures on their website. I really love the details and the fabric of the dresses. Their size chart is correct. I can definitely recommend Simple Retro.

I ordered three dresses over two weeks ago and I have still not heard anything and nothing has been sent, I’m moving house soon and I’m worried they won’t arrive in time (or at all)
I’ve tried making contact yet I haven’t heard anything back. Don’t shop on this site as they won’t reply or send you items. I’m 90% sure this is a scam

I'm not sugarcoating this, but simpleretro is my number 1 store, and it's like my fashion signature. I buy all of my clothes from simpleretro, they're french retro styled items with great quality and they are perfect for all kinds of events. Also, customer service is great, because my case is different because I'm Egyptian and it's SUPER pricey to ship things to my country, so I ship to my uncle who lives in the US until I meet with him. So I always reach out to CS to be extra sure of the size because they know I can't return it, and they're all super helpful as they try their best to help me virtually which is something not any other store would do! Many thanks to the CS for helping me with the sizes. I have been buying my clothes since 2022 and I don't think I'll stop buying from simpleretro. I made suggestions to the marketing team because I was obsessed with the Alyssa polo shirt and I want more of it, I get comments from everyone at work that they ask me from where I got these and I proudly say it's simpleretro! But in my culture in Egypt, people don't know simpleretro and not everyone will do global shipping like me, so I wish they had a branch in my country ❤️ can't wait for their new items! Best xx

The things I ordered arrived within 2 weeks and I love them. The Averie Lace Panel Dress is a vintage dream and feels so nice. The green embroidered blouse is also very chic. Both things seem to be of good quality.

Beautifull dress, so romantic and femenine. It has quality details. Was shipping quickly.
The color was a little off, more pale of what I thought but that wasnt a problem for me. The dress is true to size.

Both dresses are so beautifully made. Big attention to the details. Usually I’m wearing xs size but decide to take the dresses in s size after reading other reviews.

I love vintage inspired dresses so I was happy to discover Simple Retro. Every one of their garments has a dreamy and elegant but timeless look.
I love dresses that are mostly made of cotton so that’s what I got. The dresses fit great and have nice touches like the tie at the back of the waist to cinch it. It really makes the dress fit you well without having to think too much about if you should size up or not. I chose to get my normal size and it fit perfectly with plenty of extra room to pull in the waist. Thanks Simple Retro!

Simple Retro has such lovely and romantic designs that feel so feminine! The sizing charts are a bit different from design to design so I've learned to read them carefully. I love working with SR!

The dresses I received from simple retro were 100% cotton with lovely little details. Would order from here again!

Their dresses are to die for! I have a few and their cotton ones are very comfortable and of high quality! All of their dresses are very elegant and breathable. I also have a sweater vest from them and it is definitely one of my favourites. I adore this brand and would definitely recommend!

I have some wonderful dresses from this brand and they are very high quality items, 100% cotton made and so refined in every detail. I think they have a very good price as well, usually this kind of high quality products are much more expensive, so that's great!
I love their vintage inspired silohuettes, that give such a lovely and elegant twist also to a daily outfit.
You can find beautiful clothing for any kind of occasions.

Ordered a shirt that was painfully cheap looking upon arrival. The next day I submitted a return request, and it has been 7 days with no response. I just emailed their customer service, but this experience is far from ideal. I just read that even though they claim to have a "physical showroom" in the US, that they require customers to mail their returns to another continent out-of-pocket? This is not stated in their return policy, so I will definitely not be paying for this.

Purchased a dress - it was very well made and the fabric was wonderful - unfortunately it did not fit, so I got a return code, followed the instructions and returned it. That was over a month ago(I traced the package and it has been returned to them) so, 4 emails and a DM on their insta account....still waiting for a reply....the customer service it absolutely terrible and I will never order or recommend them to anyone, next step like others on here is to contact my credit card company :(

Clearly a scam regarding returns - they allow you to “request a refund” then send confirmation email that it’s pending review for acceptance. Which basically means they can ignore it. They do not respond to questions about it.

I disputed the charge with Goldman Sachs, since I used my Mastercard. I suggest everyone else dispute their returns also with their credit cards or banks. There’s no excuse to make people wait for a return label. Very scammy.

Update after their response: you never sent the return instructions after my request; therefore, saying you will “re-send” them is misleading and again demonstrates how this company is dishonest. Also, sending anything to that email is the same as starting all over again — I’ve sent two emails already and got not reply. Stop lying. I also reported your business to the FTC.

Update 6/12/23: I received an email about two days ago that asked if I'd received my return instructions. THREE WEEKS after I requested a refund -- nine days before the window to return lapsed. I replied that I had not received anything. I then received a reply that told me "send your item back however you like to 45 Great Jones Street, NY." I checked Google Earth and found that "Simple Retro" is no longer on the door at that address (as shown in the photo on their website). I replied that I was uncomfortable sending my item back for the reasons just stated. The response I received: "Currently, our showroom is closed, we are looking for a new address and will reopen later." So they want me to send my item back to a showroom that no longer has their name on the door -- and I'm supposed to believe they're still paying rent there? It's not a warehouse. I now see that the NYC address has been taken down from their website (but the photo of the location has not). I see no point in spending money on shipping if I cannot possibly know whether or not they'll receive my merchandise -- and if so, whether or not they'll credit my account, honestly. There is no tracking on their end. No accountability. I'm 100% confident I would not get a refund. Also, the emails I'm getting are from China -- and simply repeat the same thing over and over again.

I ordered two cute dresses from Simple Retro, and they won't let me return them because they never answer their messages. I am very disappointed in their customer service. I will not buy from them again.
