For what has been a very stressful 8 months, Jayde has been absolutely amazing and so easy to deal with.

I note on the bill that as a result of your firms mistakenly closing the file I paid 745 pounds twice and received a credit of 50(?) pounds.
This needs to be credited urgently.
There is also a fast completion fee. As this has taken nearly three months partly because you closed my file in error then you lost my proof of identity and gifting letter three times. I would suggest this is waived.
There is also a "dealing with a gift" fee. This was also not previously mentioned when J was eagerly trying to sell me on your firm and I specifically asked about this. (Presumably you have phone recordings).

Can you confirm if you have received the credit of £50? If you have, this will not need to be reflected on the statement but do let me know and I can speak to our accounts team. With regards to the fast exchange to completion fee, this is not in relation to the time taken to achieve completion. This fee is charged if exchange and completion takes place within 5 days.

The dealing with the gift fee was shown on the additional services list which was provided at the outset.* (If you can see it below, please let me know!)


We will not be able to remove any of the above fees.

Lucas Pike was very good and prompt in replying to my requests for updates on the progress of my sale. He rang to introduce himself, which was so good hearing a voice of the solicitor assigned to my sale.

Excellent service from Joseph Fernandes who replied to my emails promptly and kept me updated even when there was not much to say, but at least I knew he was working on my file. All staff were professional and answered the phone promptly. Initial quote was clear and my queries were explained. I have been very happy with everything.
