Disgusting Customer Service, Avoid !
Bought a Ruark radio which was faulty, I returned the item back in person and the manager was abrupt. I spent 20 mins in the store with a salesperson who checked the item and it didn't work. Later they emailed me and told me there was damage on it but failed to address this whilst I was there, they prob damaged it and using that as an excuse not to refund me. Avoid, disgusting customer service, go elsewhere like Richer Sounds. You should see all their complaints on Facebook, shocking ! I'm going to have to take it up with my bank or County Court now, avoid !

1. You tried to return a graded unit to our store for a refund, this was actually sold to Weighbridge Audio in 2017. Why would you do this? It was only after we notified you that we wouldn’t accept the unit back as we and the manufacturer track all serial numbers, you apologised and said you would bring the correct unit back to us.
2. The video you sent of the fault is not the unit we supplied as it’s not the same veneer finish.
3. The manager was abrupt? You never spoke to the store manager the only person you spoke was the store assistant who was very polite for the 10 minutes you were in our store.
4. We have offered to give you a full refund, however you have failed to return the correct bag that came with the unit. The one you have sent back is from a MK2. Once we have this the manufacturer will inspect for the fault and serial number on the board of the product.
5. We have offered for you to come back to the store or call you but you don’t want to do this and you won’t provide a telephone number so that we can contact you on.
Finally, you have said it's our responsibility to give you a refund not the manufacturer. This is correct but we want to check the unit you have sent us back is in fact the unit we supplied you in the first instance.
Great price and service for my new washing machine
Simply Electricals had the best price on the washing macine I wanted. Sometimes there are snags with buying from the cheapest but I didn't find that here.
The machine was delivered within a week, right into the kitchen of my 4th floor flat.

Excellent product but more importantly, excellent service. I always do a price comparison and Simply Electrical are often the best price, but will price match and offer discounts as well if asked. When purchasing a new washing machine…
When purchasing a new washing machine recently , the model I wanted was out of stock in all my local electrical stores i.e. JohnLewis, Curry's, Marks Electricals etc. Then came Simply Electricals to the rescue, not only that, it was cheaper too.
The online chat was great being able to find out the exact date of delivery. When my appliance arrived the delivery person was friendly and extremely helpful. There's four good reasons to buy from Simply Electricals . 😁Thank you 😊.

Great to deal with.
Bought from Simply Electricals on a couple of occasions now, on both occasions they have been great to deal with. Unlike buying from a large impersonal retail group, like Currys or Amazon, they have people always there to answer your queries either via instant chat or via email.
Whenever possible I try to buy from smaller local retailers and Simply Electrical seem to match the prices of the big retailers but deliver a higher level, more personal, service.

Almost friction-less service
I ordered a new dishwasher on a Friday, after my old one broke down the night before. Delivery time was, I believe, 3-5 workings days. For the first time in my life I had ordered the extra service which would remove and take away my old dishwasher and install the new one.
I received an email (I think on the following Monday) that the machine could be delivered on Saturday, but unfortunately there wouldn't be a technician available for the extra service. The money for the service would be refunded. I called and said, that I NEEDED this service, as I was due to have surgery on my hand and wouldn't be able to do anything myself.
I was told that I'd have to wait until the following week in this case and they would send me an email with the date.
Two weeks after the order the machine arrived. The guy was not aware of the extra service he was supposed to provide. As he was on his own, he wasn't really able to get the machine up the quite steep steps to the door. In the end, with combined efforts, the machine was in the kitchen.
The installation went smooth and fast.
4 stars only, because it took longer than stated, and also because the technician had no idea that he was supposed to take the old machine away and that he should have brought someone to help.
Still I am very happy with the service and would buy again from Simply Electricals.
