Our first time in Kefalonia and what a beautiful stay we had at the farmhouse bourisis in Fiskardo. absolutely stunning property and the views were amazing!

So many nice walks and beaches close by with a short walk into the main village of Fiskardo where there are cute shops and delicious restaurants and bakeries and if you don’t want to leave the villa, you have all amenities available.

A big thank you to Karen and Stephanie at Simpson travel for going above and beyond, which helped make our stay all the more memorable!

We stayed at Farmhouse Bourisis in July with Simpson Travel and had a wonderful holiday from start to finish. The farmhouse has been beautifully restored and is full of traditional character, while still being really comfortable and well equipped. It was the perfect place to switch off and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

One of our favourite things was sitting outside in the evenings listening to the cicadas, with nothing but the sounds of nature around us. The pool was fantastic, and the location made it easy to explore the beautiful beaches and spend evenings wandering around Fiskardo before returning to the tranquillity of the farmhouse. We walked into Fiskardo and took 20 minutes and a taxi back was €10.

I’d especially like to thank Zoe in the Sales team for making the process so straightforward, Karen and Stephanie in Kefalonia, who were both so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Their local knowledge and friendly approach really made a difference and added a personal touch to our holiday.

Everything was so well organised, and it was clear that Simpson Travel genuinely cares about its guests. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both Farmhouse Bourisis and Simpson Travel to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality holiday in Greece. We will certainly be travelling with Simpson Travel again.

We enjoyed a lovely, relaxing stay at Villa HORIZON in Fiscardo area.
The villa was beautifully clean, tastefully furnished and un-fussy. We had amazing sea views from the pool terrace and loved watching the sunsets.
The owners were friendly and helpful and Stephanie was a boon - booking a table for us at Alati restaurant and sharing her local knowledge.

Seamless. From airport transfer to hotel (GK Beach) to concierge Sarah's commitment & helpfulness (also Anastasia). Nothing too mych trouble. Lovely, relaxing place

Our first holiday with Simpson Travel certainly won't be our last.

From the moment we made our initial enquiry, the service was exceptional. The team took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and recommended the perfect villa in Lefkada, Greece. Every part of the process was handled professionally, with excellent communication throughout.

A special thank you to our concierge, Hazel, who was outstanding. She made everything effortless and was always on hand with helpful advice and recommendations. We'd also like to mention Jenny, who looked after the villa so beautifully and added such a warm, personal touch to our stay.

What impressed us most was how personal the whole experience felt. We'd expected a villa holiday to be quite hands-off, but Simpson Travel struck the perfect balance between giving us complete privacy while making us feel genuinely cared for.

An exceptional company with exceptional people. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Simpson Travel and are already looking forward to booking our next holiday.

Just a little note to say thank you for our lovely holiday to Skopelos we had a wonderful week . The Villa Polithea with all day views was a superb location nice and peaceful but easy to walk into the bustle of town. Good base to explore the whole island .

We have just returned from a Simpson holiday on the beautiful island of Skopelos, and all I can say is that it was absolutely superb.

From start to finish, everything felt perfectly planned and smoothly executed. The hotel lived up to every bit of the dream promised in the brochure, and the reality was every bit as special. It was one of those rare holidays where you genuinely wish you could slow time down, as we felt so relaxed and completely switched off.

The Simpson staff were incredibly helpful throughout and clearly did everything they could to make sure the whole experience ran smoothly. It really did live up to expectations in every way.

I just wanted to leave a 5 star review because I honestly cannot sing their praises enough. A truly wonderful holiday.

A wonderful holiday , from start to finish. Perfect villa for our family and Karen looked after us to make sure we didn’t want for anything.

We have just spent a wonderful 2 weeks on Ithaca. Judith was once again so warm and welcoming, she certainly goes above and beyond to make sure your stay on the island is pure relaxation. A credit to the company.

Another magical week with Simpson Travel

This year, we ventured to Paxos and stayed in the beautiful Stone House. The view was incredible, and the villa and pool were much bigger than the photos made it seem, which was such a nice surprise!

Simpson handle everything for you, it is such a weight off the mind to know that the water taxis etc are being taken care of and all you have to do is show up and enjoy.

We didn't end up hiring a car and were able to walk to the local town and beaches happily, and used taxis to get us to other areas of the island or to collect us in the evening. These were booked and arranged through the Simpson Rep Chris, who also booked restaurants and our boat day.

I can't recommend enough, thank you Simpson, we will be back!

Trapezaki Blue was a great villa in a pleasant location with a choice of multiple restaurants within 1 mile. The area was uncrowded and the beaches were all pleasant but the villa pool was also very useful for cooling off/exercising. Karen our Simpson Rep was excellent and very attentive/helpful - even for the smallest questions. Highly recommended.

Have just returned from a week at The Saints, Nisaki, Corfu. Our favourite destination. Simpsons staff take care of you from meeting at the airport to helping at the hire car depot. Then when arriving at the accommodation met by a concierge, Debbie, who showed us our fantastic 'cottage' and pool. There is an on site office, staffed every day. Debbie will arrange anything from restaurant recommendations and booking to replacing remote control batteries and supplying extra coffee pods for the new coffee machine.
We felt like we had a friend holding our hands throughout.
It is Debbie's first year, replacing Debbie (1) who was also a priceless gem.

We recently stayed at Farmhouse Bourisis through Simpsons Travel and had a wonderful holiday.

The farmhouse is in a peaceful rural location, offering a real sense of tranquillity and privacy. One of the highlights was being able to walk into Fiskardo through the beautiful pine forest, which was a lovely experience. I would recommend wearing trainers or suitable walking shoes for the route, as some sections can be uneven.

Stephanie looked after us exceptionally well throughout our stay. She was friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area, providing excellent recommendations and helpful advice that enhanced our holiday.

Overall, Simpsons Travel delivered another excellent experience, and we would happily recommend both Farmhouse Bourisis and the Simpsons Travel team to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Kefalonia.

Fantastic holiday with Simpson Travel to Ithica and will certainly travel with them again. Seamless connections from plane to taxi to boat taxi to hire car. Rep Judith was really helpful with information about island and any queries we had. Villa was beautiful. Many of our fellow travellers had used them before and had nothing but praise for Simpson Travel.

Just back from a week at Rou Estate in Corfu and had a fabulous time. The accommodation was spot on & we were very well looked after by Gaynor & Jules who answered all our questions straight away. Great recommendations from them for restaurants to try as well. Lovely little spa area & had a great massage with Vanda, left feeling very relaxed. Will definitely be booking again !

We enjoyed a wonderful seven-day holiday in Kefalonia organised by Simpsons Travel, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.

Kefalonia is a stunning island with an incredible variety of scenery, from the breathtaking Myrtos Beach and the crystal-clear waters of Antisamos Beach to the spectacular Melissani Cave and the charming harbour village of Fiskardo. Every day offered something new to discover, whether relaxing on beautiful beaches, exploring traditional villages, or enjoying the island’s excellent food and hospitality.

A special mention must go to Karen, our exceptional Simpsons Travel host. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and always available to help. Her recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try were consistently excellent and really enhanced our holiday. Karen also arranged a fantastic olive oil tasting experience, which provided a fascinating insight into local production and culture and became one of the highlights of our trip.

Our accommodation at Villa Natura was outstanding. The villa is set in an idyllic and peaceful location, surrounded by beautiful scenery and offering complete relaxation. The facilities were excellent throughout, with a wonderful swimming pool that was perfect for cooling off and enjoying the sunshine. The bedrooms were exceptionally spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring the island.

The combination of a beautiful destination, superb accommodation, and outstanding service from Simpsons Travel made this a truly memorable holiday. We would not hesitate to book with Simpsons Travel again and highly recommend both Kefalonia and Villa Natura to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable Greek island escape.

Title: Casa das Rochas, Loulé — unacceptable villa and dismissive response from Simpson Travel
Our stay at Casa das Rochas, Loulé, Portugal was one of the most disappointing holidays we’ve ever had. The villa was nowhere near the standard Simpson Travel advertises, and their repeated, copy‑and‑paste replies — subtly blaming us for issues caused by their own lack of checks — were extremely frustrating.
Key issues:
Two years of roadworks along the 2–3 mile approach to the villa, with constant noise, dust, potholes and raised manhole covers. We were repeatedly blocked in, including on departure morning at 6am when we had to move barriers ourselves.
Villa not ready until 5pm because the owner refused to leave until noon. Cleaners then had to deal with his mess and paint all over the floors from a roof problem.
Unhygienic toilets with thick, stained calcium and faecal deposits.
Fridge issues — one full of the owner’s food, the other left on maximum so all our fresh groceries spoiled.
Owner’s belongings everywhere — used toiletries in every bathroom, cupboards full of out‑of‑date food, oils and spices, and opened bottles of alcohol with a note telling us to “replace what we use”.
The villa felt less like a holiday rental and more like we were staying in an elderly relative’s home that hadn’t been cleaned or cleared out for years. It genuinely felt as though we were sharing accommodation with the owner.
Simpson Travel’s final offer — 5% off restricted villas — was not a meaningful gesture. We will not be travelling with them again.

Our stay at Villa Alessi in Lefkada was nothing short of exceptional. The villa is beautifully appointed, offering generous space for our group of three families while still providing plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy their own space. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, making it easy to cater for large family meals and enjoy evenings together.

One of the villa's standout features is its stunning position. We were treated to spectacular sunrises and sunsets every day, with sunshine bathing the villa from 6am through until 8pm. The outdoor space was perfect for barbecues, family gatherings, and simply unwinding while taking in the breathtaking views. The pool was ideal for our younger children, providing a safe and enjoyable environment where they could spend hours having fun.

What truly elevated our holiday, however, was the outstanding service provided by Hazel, our Simpson Travel representative. Hazel was simply superb from start to finish. Her local knowledge and recommendations for beaches, restaurants, and shopping were invaluable, helping us make the most of our time in Lefkada. She even arranged a wonderful evening meal for us, fully prepared and ready to enjoy at the villa.

Hazel's attention to detail, professionalism, and efficiency in responding to any questions or requests were among the very best we have experienced from any holiday representative. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her warm, friendly approach made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay.

Villa Alessi is a wonderful property, but Hazel's exceptional support made our holiday truly memorable. She is an absolute asset to Simpson Travel and someone they should be incredibly proud to have on their team. We cannot thank her enough for helping create such a special family holiday.
