how To claim some of your money back

Sinov innovations have put a staircase (if you can call it that)
Into my hallway instead of taking three days to dismantle my old staircase and place anew one in it’s taken Eleven months
If you were to look at Steve’s work you would wonder if a 12 year old had put it together ........it has 42 faults
I have paid the company £5.000.00 plus fortunately
If any of you have paid by debit card you could claim charge back from on your bank
And if you’ve paid with your credit card you can also claim back payment through section 75 from your bank
That’s what Ive doing the Bank is very sympathetic

Latest update - 'Ceased Trading'

This afternoon I received an email from Stephen Illing saying that Sinov Innovations Ltd have ceased trading.

He has said that it is due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances but he hopes that it's not permanent.

He is unable to offer refunds due to the on going situation with his bankers. Should the company cease trading then I shall be contacted by an administrator or liquidator.

He also said that should the company start trading again then he hopes that I will allow him to carry the work out and complete the project.

Mmmmmmm....I don't think so Mr Illing. All trust has gone and we have appointed someone else thank you.

Do not buy from this man do not work or trust this man.

I’m actually reluctant to put 1 star rating on this as this person has completely caused me hardship and stress and deprived me money for honest work I did for him at a tune of £5000 including expenses. Please do not work or approach or trust this person as he will rob you dry of any money and you will never see anything for it. The only thing this man is short of is a black mask and a striped black and white jumper.

Steve Illing and Sinov are a fraud

Steve Illing and Sinov innovations are a compete fraud. After taking a 40% deposit, I have not heard from him for 3 months and he does not respond to emails or phone call.

My lawyers have issued a claim a couple of weeks ago which will result in a CCJ if he does not respond. Looking at Companies House he has dissolved previous companies and will likely do the same to this and is also likely to start a new company to scam more customers! Do not trust this man.

Oak and Glass renovation

We had our staircase renovation completed by Sinov in December. A very dated and open 70’s staircase is now transformed into a lovely oak and glass focal point for our hallway.
We had a great experience and love the end result. The job was a little more complicated than was first thought so we needed to arrange a revisit to finish. This went fine and I completely understood as the house has revealed some funny building quirks before. Sinov managed to adapt to these and the stairs are beautiful.
I would recommend Sinov and was happy with the price and workmanship.

I would NOT recommend this company to…

I would NOT recommend this company to do any work.I am part way through having a cantilever staircase fitted and have been left since September with only metal plates to use as stairs. He obviously made a complete mess up of his calculations and then tried to blame us for the mistake. This was followed by emails insinuating I wouldn't pay the outstanding balance,a measly £400 after a payment of over £4000 had already been made!! He is now completely ignoring all messages.

Be wary of Sinov and Mr illing

Steve Illing of Sinov asked me to design a staircase for him at a cost of approx 2k via linked in.....I spent around 60 Hours carrying out this work for him despite having to drag info out of him I almost completed the job.

As soon as I started asking for my initial payment, he went quiet on me and stopped answering calls, emails etc knowing full well I had spent a lot of time on his job as he was kept constantly updated.

He's now gone completely quiet, even blocking me on Linked in....I've made some enquiries and turns out he has a bit of a reputation of bumping people for money so be wary of this man and this company, go with a reputable company who can be trusted as this man is a shill... if he will rip suppliers off Im sure he is capable of doing the same to his customers

Regards

Tom
