High Quality Sofa

We’re really pleased with our new sofa. The quality is outstanding, the lead time was impressive, and assembling it was easy. The sofa both looks and feels fantastic, we have had loads of compliments from family and friends on it. Massively comfy too. A special thanks to Jack, the sofa Shahman, who guided us to the perfect sofa.

Zero interest in sustainability?

Zero interest in sustainability?

After 18 months the covers on my chairs supplied to John Lewis by Siren are starting to look tatty and worn. Mild use by two adults. Siren have no means by which they will supply replacement covers from their factory, which is making them routinely, for me to have fitted. They’ll be too complicated/expensive/too much hassle for an independent upholsterer to become involved in and so my £1000 spend will be in the skip within 3 years at the rate of depreciation that’s going on just now. No desire it appears to me for customer satisfaction, meaningful ‘green’ policies for post-supply, or sustainability appears to me from my experience to be zero.

Update following reply:

It was John Lewis Customer Service who said you were unable to do anything with regard to the issues I asked about. It is YOU who won’t supply what was required to sustain the furniture you manufacture. The furniture was not ‘faulty’ and therefore it is not a matter that JL can rectify. It was me attempting to alter the furniture to make its use sustainable in the long term at my own expense without going down the ‘custom’ route which would not be financially viable. You supplying items that you are making on a routine basis and then being fitted by a local upholsterer makes environmental and financial sense. Siren Furniture is the sustainability sticking point here - no one else.

“Legal reasons” given as excuse for terrible customer service.

Bought 2 sofas from John Lewis which were supplied by Siren Furniture. The legs supplied for 1 sofa were incorrect. John Lewis gave me number for Siren Furniture so that I could liaise with them to ensure that the correct legs were supplied. When I called Siren they refused to speak to me about the matter, allegedly “for legal reasons”. Sounds like complete rubbish and terrible customer service.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback and we're genuinely sorry to hear about the frustration you experienced.

We completely understand how disappointing it must have been to receive incorrect sofa legs, and then not be able to get the issue resolved. That’s not the experience we want for anyone.

In this situation, because it is a John Lewis own brand product, you need to raise the problem with the John Lewis customer service team who will then pick this up with us directly to resolve it. You can reach them via johnlewis.com/customer-services/contact-us

We’re disappointed to hear this wasn’t resolved smoothly and will be following up internally to identify where improvements can be made. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts – your feedback is genuinely valued.

Best regards,

The Siren Team

Eliza Loveseat, two seater and four seater sofas

We purchased an Eliza Loveseat, two seater and four seater sofa, delivery slightly delayed due to issues with Brexit, however, the product has exceeded our expectations. Excellent quality, good customer services, I would certainly use them again and have no hesitation in recommending them to potential customers.

Sturdy British Built Furniture

After having an order for a sofa through Debenhams cancelled, I decided to contact the manufacturer who supply Debenhams, Siren furniture. They normally only supply trade, however they were prepared to deal with me directly.

Although we had an idea of what we wanted style wise, we were undecided in colour and material. From start to finish, Siren furniture were extremely helpful and patient and sent us numerous samples. After numerous changes of minds and many emails, we eventually decided on the the material and colour and put in an order. Joanna and Jacquie were both very helpful, polite and professional throughout the entire process.

The sofa arrived a few weeks ahead of schedule, and I must say we are delighted with it. The build quality is superb, the fabric is very durable and the sofa is very comfy.....and for the price we paid, represents excellent value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them for other items of furniture. It just proves the point.....best to buy British!
