No reply on refund request because of a mail issue.

Follow up: I contacted the service, they said the money was reinbursed on 1/4. It was but not reflected in the banking app.

Call them for any problem. They are helpful.

I booked ski hire via Ski Discount for this years family ski trip. The idea of skis delivered to your hotel should be a very easy and painless experience but unfortunatley this was not to be. Firstly the skis arrived 4 hours after the arranged time. After 1 hour of waiting i phoned and spoke to the manager to be told they were on route and would be with us shortly only for us to wait another 3 hours. When the skis finally arrived they were old, battered, totally sub-standard skis. When i then called the ski hire company the manager shouted at me on the phone and hung up. We eventually managed to speak to Alpinresorts which is the owner of Ski Discount and finally got a refund. Save yourself agro and waiting around and book from a rental shop directly. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THEM.

I hired 3 x skis and 1 x ski boots online for our skiing holiday 2 weeks ago (Jan 2020). Unfortunately due to a misunderstanding with the holiday company, I needed to cancel my booking with skidiscount. NO refund. Even though it is clear that I have not used the skis I booked, they have kept my £287.
I don't think this is acceptable. They have taken money for nothing. AND the ski shop i was supposed to get the skis from said they hadn't received any money either!
You can make up your own mind!

The idea is great. The website is good.
BUT:
We rented for a week for 6 people snowboards, shoes, helmets in total for around EUR 500. Then we had to change our booking. As a result we rented for around 400 EUR but we did not receive any refunds. The local provider told us to deal with skidiscount to get a refund. But they reject the refund and point to the local provider.
Both also insist that we returned the equipment later - which is not true. Nobody offered any compensation.
I can not recommend skidiscount AND I can not recommend Hervis in Mayrhofen/Zillertal/Austria.

I booked a set of skis, and boots through ski discount for my brother for our ski holiday in St Anton last week at the Sport 2000 shop which is located at the bottom of the Nasserein ski lift.
The staff were very helpful, they did not question the voucher we printed off from ski discount (which seems to be the case in some of these reviews).
Even though I booked the basic boots and skis for my brother because he is a novice skier, sport 2000 offered him the complete range of skis at no extra cost. They just wanted him to have the best skis for his ability,
Sport 2000 is a very reputable ski hire company in the St Anton area with a shop at the Nasserien, and both the top and bottom of the Gatzig ski lift. I cannot see a shop like this being associated with some fly by night company that some reviewers say about ski discount.
The price was cheaper than what was being offered by our ski holiday company.

I booked skis and cancelled my booking within 24 hours. Ski Discount wold not give me my money back. They have a very uncustomer friendly cancellation policy which is much more draconian than the shops that fulfil the booking. If you cancel they keep all the money and the shop gets nothing. I did get my money back in the end via a PayPal complaint. Just as well that I did not book using my bank card. They are also awful to communicate with.

Worked very well - cheaper to go through ski discount than book directly with the shop. Would use again.

I booked skis and boots for a trip to Gressoney La Trinite in Italy with Ski Discount. The cost was taken from my account. On presenting the Ski Discount voucher at the designated ski hire shop they said that they had no business relationship with Ski Discount and would not honour the voucher - leaving me no alternative but to rent at full local price (and to pay again) for the ski hire. Despite emails to repeatedly emails to Ski Discount I have had no response and no refund as yet. The practices of this organisation seem fraudulent.
In addition the full local price charged to me was only about 10% more than the price Ski Discount claimed was a 30% reduction on local prices - again misleading and fraudulent practice.

Saved a fortune compared to going direct. Added benefit of being invoiced in Euro's helped as the exchange rate was so favourable. Great service at Ski Resort - no issues with vouchers etc. Thanks !!

Very good service! Would definitely use again

Booked skis for me and my wife 5 days before travelling. Got great friendly service in the shop. I can't speak for my wife's skis, but while mine were not an expensive model, they were really well prepared and I enjoyed skiing on them. I had to return the helmet I hired because it was broken, but they swapped it without fuss and without paperwork. Would use again.

Can't say a lot for the TrustPilot website however, it doesn't work in IE11, which is should by now! 5 stars for Ski Discount, 0 for TrustPilot.

I was a little distrusting of the service at first but when I turned up at the shop it just went as normal but quicker , no registering no payment, just show the voucher and get the skis , they weren't set aside and ready and waiting but that was a bonus as I could choose what i wanted
